Haven’t tried to use it yet but I don’t appreciate getting a used item if I paid for something new. The box looked a bit beat up but I assumed it was from transit until I opened the kit and found it threaded with a piece of fabric still under the needle.

Haven't used it yet. However I received an used machine. It has rust stains, and fingerprints all over it. The piece of cloth was just like it appears on the picture, IDK if that's intentional. But I'm not happy with the machine I received. I paid for a new product and got a used one. Very bad.

As long as you dont use it for anything thicker than a T-shirt you'll be ok. I bought it to take up my new ski pants which which aren't very thick. I only got it because it says it can sew denim. Denim is much tougher than what I was using it for.
