Grommets are placed vertically at 2.1 ft intervals and horizontally at 2.1 ft intervals, all edges are covered with black reinforced 1.5in binding. The grommets and binding help to support the screen in the wind.

This is a wonderful product and I do recommend. It is very uniformly made and looks good when set up. The grommets are evenly spaced and seem quite sturdy. Make sure to use as many grommets as you can in order to share the stress across the entire shade. This particular shade works wonderful for fences. I keep this on a fence line between horses that can’t stand to see one another. So funny how a simple curtain can calm down the most unruly of beasts! As long as I put these up with metal zip ties, the horses leave them alone. It’s not 100% sun proof shade but it is quite close. Also, no, this is not waterproof.

The media could not be loaded. We were looking for a privacy screen to put on the fence between our neighbors and us so they can not watch me while we are hanging out in our backyard or washing our cars. its just nice to have privacy when you want it without people watching you randomly. This came in a small box tightly packaged along and included plenty of black zip ties plus extras in case you need to cut and replace some of the zip ties. This privacy screen is very long which is awesome. I wish they had a 75 foot as an option because we have a super long fence. 2 of the metal grommets were a little bent but still usable, see my photos. but it is easy to bend it back into place with the right tool. make sure you stretch it out a little while putting it up. Do not over stretch it because it will tear overtime if you overstretch it. highly recommend. 5 stars!!!

This works great to give our yard a bit more privacy and to blind my dogs a little bit. This helps to keep the neighbors from seeing in and to keep my dogs from seeing the neighbors too. Our neighborhood just got a bit more quieter. Super easy to put up with at least 2 people, we used more zip ties than what's included but again we have 2 dogs. Thus far it has held up well and serves its purpose. Great quality and norips frommy dogs...at least yet.

Finally, someone got it right, offering an option of either a 4ft, 5ft, or 6ft high privacy fence by a whopping 50ft long. You can see that his one is well made, all the seams have been reinforced. The grommets are placed every 2 ft both horizontally and vertically. It was fairly windy when I put it up, and I thought we were going to have an issue with the wind blowing, but surprise when all the zip ties were put on, (yes these guys didn't miss a beat they even included the zip ties,) this privacy fence held its place. Now I'm not going to tell you that this thing is going to withstand hurricane-force wind, not that I expect that it would.
