The media could not be loaded. At first thought, this is a strange thing to purchase because why would you want to carry around your dog’s fur, especially if you have a shedder and are constantly cleaning up the fur. But as my dogs get older, the thought that one day they won’t be here with me makes me very sad. This keychain that holds their fur is a sweet keepsake to remember your best friend and always have a slight reminder of what a true loving companion they are.

These NOT real leather as advertised, but this is an affordable collection if you have multiple pets or multiple people to share fur with. As seen in the picture, the exposed backside has weaving instead of the suede on what should be the flesh side. The plastic "window" does not move around or come out and it looks attractive. The snap comes apart a little too easily and isn't as secure as I'd like it to be. Each comes individually packaged for gift giving (see photos). Overall, I recommend them, despite the cons I've mentioned.

This product was provided to me for a Vine review in exchange for my honest, unbiased opinion. I got these because I volunteer with a cat rescue and thought they would make cute gifts for some of the other volunteers. Obviously, I love the paw shape, it the quality is also really good. The stitching looks good on all of them and the thread color matches each one. The snap closure can be a little finicky but if you place it on a hard surface and press it will fully snap close. Even if it unsnapped I don't think anything would fall out of it because it's a pretty tight fit but seeing as it's meant to be a keepsake/memorial I would be so upset if the fur came out. Adding a dab of glue would ensure there wasn't an issue but from what I've seen the fur would have to be pulled out even if not fully snapped shut. There is a clear soft plastic that covers the cutout areas of the paw that will hold in fur from the outside. It looks sown in so it won't move around or fall out. They are great as is but would be really cute with the pet's name on the back. If you have a way of adding a vinyl decal that would make these an even better gift. It's easy to add fur or a picture since the inside area is big enough I can fit my finger (it's a tight squeeze as you can see in the picture) but still small enough to close tightly. The packages are resealable but not really gift worthy. If you were going to hang these in a shop the packaging is great but I plan of putting them in something a little nice when I give them as gifts.
