These are sturdy, well made blenders. The white tip is much like a compressed paper stub blender, and the dark foam end is a very soft spongy blender that’s great for feathery, ethereal blending. Press too hard with the spongy end while using pastel chalks will basically remove most of the chalk. But a very light touch can give exquisite results. I have not had the same issues as some other reviews with the white ends getting imbedded into the metal handle, and I received all 12 pieces. My set came complete, and it’s all top quality. The only thing that would make this set better would be a nice case to keep them in. Other than that, I think these are perfect for chalk, charcoal, graphite, and maybe creamy-leaded color pencils (like Prisma brand), although I haven’t yet tried them on colored pencils. Recommended!

These are pretty nifty. I started with the plastic ones with the replacement sponge ends. Those aren't great. THESE are easy to use. And smoother. The black end is more of a burnisher. Blends somewhat, but burnishes what you've already blended or already laid down. The white side is rougher. It will blend. But don't press too hard because it is rougher and can tear your paper. It's made for light pressure use. Use the white end first, then the black. You can clean the ends as well. Clean the black end with a damp cloth, the white end you can scrub a bit harder or use an eraser on. You don't absolutely need these, but they do give you another way to add personality to your art.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The white felt end is great. It is firm and blends well. The small size black sponge side works fairly well. But the large black sponge size is very very squishy and floppy and does not work well. For the price, the white sides are worth it. I have not yet used them enough to see how they clean. If they clean easily it will stay a 4 star. If not...

These blenders are very nice. There are two different sizes. The large ones are squishy and the smaller ones are very good for detailing. My husband is an artist and this was a perfect addition to his tools.

I picked up the Kosiz Blending Sponge Pen to see if it could help with my drawing, and it did not disappoint. The dual-ended sponge tips are perfect for blending pencil, charcoal, or even pastel, especially when working on small details or creating soft gradients. The pen-like design makes it easy to control, which is a big plus for precision work. The sponges are firm enough to handle heavier strokes but soft enough to blend smoothly without leaving harsh lines. It’s compact, so it’s easy to carry around with my sketchpad, and it’s way less messy than using my fingers for shading. Cleaning the sponges takes a little care, but they hold up decently with proper use. If you’re into drawing or shading, this is a super handy tool to have. It won’t replace all your blending tools, but it’s a great addition to your kit for detailed work!

I have not had a whole lot of success using these so I may not be using them right. I do like the sizes there's two small, two medium ,and two large. I will be experimenting with them to see how they work with various mediums. They were great value for the money they are soft the ends are also firm enough that they don't bend when you use them I expect them to function well with different mediums.

These are great blending sponges. I draw with charcoal and graphite and these blenders work great for both. I do plan on buying more. They have a light, yet strong feel to them. Ive been using them for awhile now and the sponge tips are still like new. Fyi, i draw every day i can get

I really like these. The black tips are a trippy sponge, and soft enough to use on your face. The white tips are stiff, like a regular artist's stump. Altogether they seem sturdy and useful for any kind of charcoal, pastel or pencil work. My only complaint is that one of the smaller brushes has its white tip deeply encased in the metal ferrule and I can't get it out. I've tried everything short of damaging or destroying it, but it won't come out. I've subtracted a star for that reason, being as it's a quality control issue and not something that happened during shipping - that tip is really wedged down deep, not like it was bumped down by a hard knock, and it's only just the one tip, not all of them. Otherwise seems like a very nice set of blending tools, affordably priced. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could.
