These sleeves are nice but only thin limbs can fit into them. I am still giving them five stars because the sleeves still work as advertised and are simply not suitable for thick armed people. For UV protection on the arms, I am old-school and use the cut off pants legs from denim jeans. Someone else in the household tested these sleeves and used them as leg warmers. It's finally cold enough here for me to try these out, and they did not disappoint. In mid-40's weather (F), these provided an extra layer of wind resistance on my morning commute. These are very lightweight, so I don't even notice them when I take them off and put them in my rear pocket. They come in a variety of colors, just in case you care about matching. My only complaint is that they say "SPORTS" down the side, which looks pretty dorky. It's like a toddler's t-shirt that says "Football" or whatever, as if the picture of the football doesn't tell you enough. But, these are good sleeves, and if you don't care about fashion, they will do the required job. ... show more

Got this for gaming when using a glass mouse pad. Version with the thumb hole. Pros: - Inexpensive - Multi-pack - Works great at not sticking to the glass pad Cons - Some stitches around the thumb area are coming undone. This is the case with about half of the sleeves in my package. - Wrist area is kinda baggy. You can see this in the product photos - Picture: Palm area sort of "tents" up when my hand is gripping the mouse. So it pushes my mouse forward. Not a big deal, my use case is pretty niche Things to know: - Glass pads are cold. This won't really insulate you. I guess I didn't pay as much attention as I should have to the description of these sleeves - which list them as providing UV protection and "cooling". Just looking at the pictures I thought that these would help keep my arms warmer when riding my eBike at night. I tried wearing them around the house in the cold early mornings and found that my arms were indeed actually colder. That being said, this set provides some nice color options for adding UV protection while keeping cool in the summer. I have pretty slim arms so these fit me well and I didn't have issues with them slipping down. It would be nice to include a bead of grippy material around the upper arm opening to hold them in place better for people with larger arms. One other observation is that both arm sleeves are printed with the same orientation text (vs. a L and R sleeve). That means that the "sports" logo will be upside down on one arm (or displayed on the outer arm on one, and the inner arm on the other). I don't think that's a big deal since there's not a huge need to display the word "sports" on your arm in the first place. In summary - these sleeves actually do what they are advertised to do despite some minor quirks. The color assortment is nice and they're reasonably priced for providing arm protection in the summer heat. ... show more

I got these as an extra layer of warmth for playing outside during the winter, but also as a UV protector during the summer. It's perfect for both uses. I have some much nicer Pearl Izumi arm UV protectors, but they're a little on the thick side for summer. These arm protectors are very light and thin. They feel like they would breath well in the summer heat. They also feel light like a second-skin, so they give just that extra touch of warmth right now during the fall season. The arm band at the top is a bit tight for a small man, but that probably helps it stay up better too. For a woman, it fits on the loose side. For a man, it fits on the snug to tight side. I tried these hoping they would fit. I have larger upper arms, so I was hoping they would have enough give to wear without cutting off circulation. They... did not. I could barely get these on, and even then, I had to significantly roll them down until they were practically at my elbows, which defeats the purpose of wearing them and limits mobility. I gave these three stars because the material the product is made from is very nice and does have a good cooling effect. The colors are bright, and I really liked them. I just wish the product had fit me. I'd love to see this made in two sizes instead of one, that way those of us who don't have pencil thin arms can use them too. ... show more

I've worn these while cycling with a short-sleeved jersey and also while doing an elliptical workout. In each case, the sleeves stayed put on my arms and weren't very noticeable during the workout.
