Been using pot holders about 55 years. I recently bought a cast iron dutch oven (5 qt) and pot holders were not getting the job done. Even the silicone grippers that came with dutch oven didn't work well (a few burns, oops.) So I tried these. I bought the pink ones(sorry, I am still a girlie). They work great when handling a super heavy super hot cast iron dutch oven. No worries about slipping or pot holder getting to hot. Of course they are great for all my baking needs as well. I purchased these to use with my heat press cause I keep burning my knuckles. I was hoping these would be a snug fit like cheap winter mittens. I need a snug fit so I can remove sublimation papers. These are far to huge for me to work with. I would not be able to grab papers from the heat press with these. Maybe they’d work as pot holders but as I said, far to big for my intended use. These do seem well made and thick though. I wear a size 7 or 8 in dish gloves for reference. I will likely be returning. Update 1/25/21- they make a fabulous pot holder. My husband and I both now use these for our preferred pot holders. Perfect for holding lids on to strain liquids from pots. You get a better grip than oven mitts since you have all your fingers to grip. Not the intended purpose but i was too lazy to send these back and it ended up being useful. ... show more

I have an air fryer oven and they work great. I haven't washed them yet so can't say about the cleaning, but they work good to remove hot items from the oven fryer. Works on things in the microwave and stove oven too. I like the idea of having the fingers, gives a better grip on pans and dishes coming out along with the protection from the heat and like the cuffs so you don't burn your wrist when you accidently touch something hot. My husband has a pair he uses when he's grilling or smoking meats, and told me I needed to get some, so looked and found these and I'm very happy with them and love the colors so he won't be tempted to grab them. :-) ... show more

I bought these for unloading kilns. I have used the "Ove Glove" for years, they were always too large but did the job. They're wearing out after years of use, so I decided to buy these as replacement since they're labeled for women (size). The fingers are really tight and kind of long, and the palm of the hand is really baggy. The tight fingers make it hard to bend your fingers and grip to pick things up. I'm going to keep them and hope they stretch out a little. But bummed they are not sized very well. ... show more

These are a little big on my hands (woman) and snug on my husbands hand. He loves them. He had a 19lb brisket on his grill and took the whole brisket off using these gloves. He said it was hot but not too hold to hold (he forgot a pan is why he was holding it lol). He loves the grips on these gloves as well. He wants to get a couple more pairs of these gloves. Since he got the black and pink he is going to try the other colors. He has a friend who just spend $50 on a pair of gloves not even a nice as these gloves!!! These are my second pair of heat resistant gloves. Because it’s a glove not a mitt I feel it gives me more freedom to quickly move around. The fit is perfect for me but is also fine for my husband. The rubber “grips” is a nice feature.
