I have struggled to find a light that I really like in my dining room. The last light I got a few weeks ago just didn't look quite right. Then, I saw this light. I stood in my dining area and tried to picture it in my space. I was doing measurements to make sure it wouldn't be too big. Everything line up, so I got it. My hubby installed it this morning. I must say I do not hate it. I actually really like it. It goes with the mood I am trying to achieve. I really like the globes and the fact that they are literally crystal clear. I used Edison LED bulbs in the fixture, daylight hue. They take a normal size base sized bulb. So, you don;t have to buy anything special. This chandelier completely upgraded the look of our dining area. The black finish and clear glass shades give it a clean, modern farmhouse feel, honestly, it looks way more expensive than it was. It gives off plenty of light with the six bulbs, which is great because our old fixture barely lit the room. The hanging height is adjustable, so we were able to get it just right over our table. The media could not be loaded. This is a really nice farmhouse style light. The assembly and installation are pretty straightforward. I like the pivot at the top, it's a nice touch in case your light does not want to hang straight down on its own, see photo. The wiring harness is really nice. I had some difficulty with it so take note. At first I couldn't get the wires to stay in the hole and clamp down. I thought maybe you can only put one wire in per each slot and there are enough slots to do that. But that isn't the case. You have to really PRY pretty hard to open the catch ALL the way. Once I figured that out, it was a breeze, see photos. I also had a little difficulty with my larger hands, getting the glass holders screwed into place, but I was able to manage. I got some Edison vintage bulbs and the light looks fantastic. I have them on a dimmer switch also so it really makes it a nice light for over the dining room table. See video ... show more

This 6-light black and clear glass chandelier is beautiful and lights up a space perfectly. I could see this being used as a dining room fixture or main room fixture because it does shine super bright. This takes six E26 base bulbs. The lights angle out into different areas to cover a large span at a time. Assembly is pretty quick, just make sure to have someone to help during installation as this is heavy with all of the metal and glass. Functionality is excellent and build quality is even better.
