This is a very nice looking "farmhouse chandelier." It's not 'flashy,' but has a simple elequence about it. I have a kitchen and more of a dinette in my basement, where I spend most of my time, and I just did some updates for a more rustic look, and this light was the cherry on top. I was thinking maybe the chandelier would be heavier, but I'm actually glad it wasn't, as it's still very well constructed and it wasn't a pain to install. The listing says it's 6.77 pounds. It's compatiable with E12 incandescent, LED, CFL, and halogen bulbs (not included). I happened to have some CFL bulbs that worked, but I'll be replacing them with LED. I have the 6-light version and it puts out a substantial amount of light, but will be almost nothing on the electric bill once I install LED bulbs, although the CFL bulbs are highly efficient, too. I ordered the black (white shades) version, and I can easily imagine it fitting in with many styles from retro to modern, almost everything in between, and even in different areas of your home. This is a simple light fixture. It is perfect for over the kitchen table of our rustic kitchen. The warm glow provided by the shades is nice and cast enough light where things dont seem gloomy. Connecting this is super easy with three wires and your typical light mount. It is also not very heavy at all but the metal is still a decent gauge. The wiring is sufficient and I don't worry about them being too small of gauge like I have with others. After installing it above the restaurant, the atmosphere of the entire space becomes warm and has a sense of design. The hand-woven rattan lampshade is very textured, and the golden lamp arm is matched with a lampshade made of natural materials. It has both the natural flavor of the country style and a bit of exquisite retro feeling. The lighting range of the six lamp heads is very sufficient. When the lights are turned on at night, the entire dining table is softly illuminated, which is especially suitable for family gatherings or friends to visit.
