I received this today and was instantly impressed. It is a very thick guage of stainless, and the construction if great. What really made me happy though is that you can adjust its vertical height to match your tile height without rotating it. It just slides up and down in a rubber mount until the installation is complete. The reversible faceplate is a nice touch if your tile will allow it. In my case Penny tile would have lots of cuts and not look good. Possibly a piece of the wall tile. Let the wife decide that. Looks like good product.

I bought this to upgrade my shower drain. My drain is 4x4 but this requires plumbing to put the drain in. I have to cut the floor tiles, in order to put this in, otherwise it won’t be flush with my tile floor. I also tried to replace the top part (only) without the black part, but the edges won’t fit inside the drain hole. I don’t recommend this if you already have a drain in place unless you do plumbing and construction!
