  • This is thing is a beautiful beast!
Style: 5" Diameter Material Type: 5/8"-11 Threaded Arbor
This thing works. It is a beast. Could probably remove all the concrete from my sidewalk down to the dirt. Or remove one side the foundation on my house. Holy cow! I needed to remove concrete from a horizontal patio slab in the backyard so I could put in a fence and have the fence posts flush to the slab. When they poured it back in 1910 or 1920 they didn't use a form (that I could tell) and hand troweled the exposed part but once at the solid line it was bulging out. So I used a diamond cutoff wheel to remove as many big hunks as I could, then this to grind it down to relatively flat. Lots of elbow grease sure, but this wheel never gave up, never needed a break, never stopped. It outlasted me - I was the one who needed the period breaks. In the end, after 8 fence posts, where for each area where each fence post would approximately land, I would clear about a 10-12 inch wide section of the slab, and about 6-8inches vertical, and this thing still has at least 1/3 left on it. So yeah, I recommend this beast! ... show more

  • Works really well, compares to a 10" on a 220v 20 am machine with just a 7" angle grinder.
Style: 7" Diameter Material Type: 5/8"-11 Threaded Arbor
Excellent for fast coating removal and taking down high spots in concrete floors, not a smooth finish

  • Fast removal and aggressive
Style: 7" Diameter Material Type: 5/8"-11 Threaded Arbor
Product was used to reduce the thickness of a concrete slab. It has grooves cut into it for a stamped concrete coating that was removed by others. It is also great for eliminating trip hazards from a concrete slab lifting up next to another. I had previously used the 4.5" disc and it worked great. The 7" disc with a 15-pound grinder rotating the disc works faster and creates a large taper in the concrete surface. ... show more

  • Very Aggressive Grinder Wheel
Style: 7" Diameter Material Type: 5/8"-11 Threaded Arbor
I had to remove about a 1/4" to 1/2 of concrete in places to level a floor. This grinding wheel worked great for removing material quickly. When using the edge, you could remove 1/8" in one pass. On flat, it would smooth out the grooves made by using the edge on the first pass. It was a huge time saver over other grinding wheels I've used in the past. It still is time consuming, but it does work. ... show more

  • Works very well
Style: 7" Diameter Material Type: 5/8"-11 Threaded Arbor
I liked that the disk would cut my concrete because I have very hard concrete

  • Best one on the market for hard surfaces
Style: 7" Diameter Material Type: 7/8"-5/8" Non-Threaded Arbor
If you need to grind something like stone or concrete, look no further. I am a stone mason and this is by far the most aggressive wheel, and is also very long lasting. I grind large amounts of granite. These are great for rough grinding. For smoothing , pre polish grinding get the black ones with gold small spike pattern teeth, also from this seller Ediamondtools. These are the only 2 styles you need. ... show more

  • Your search for a decent blade ends when you buy this one
Style: 7" Diameter Material Type: 5/8"-11 Threaded Arbor
So I was hesitant to buy this based on " self proclaimed DIY professionals". So I bought the DeWalt 7" wheel for my 15amp mikita. Spent $97 and it lasted about 3hrs and grinded down 1/8" in a 4x4 area on my patio (4000 psi aggregate mix). The DeWalt was near nubs in that span. So I bought this one and let me tell you.. if you have a large area of concrete with rock that you need to grind down, this is the blade for that! I did the remaining 36'x9' and it cut like butter with only wearing down 1/3, maybe 1/2 the blade. Save yourself some time and money and take my advice and get the dang thing. ... show more
