The media could not be loaded. 19July2023 = 6AWG Gauge Cables are of top grade quality. Hefty and very easy to flex and bend. I wasn't 'shorted' in the length I ordered, in fact ...my black cable had a little over an inch extra (thanks). I most definitely will give WindyNation more future business. Cable specs ARE printed on the both the red and black cables. I didn't count how many strands but hopefully the pics help you decide. The insulation is pretty thick. It might not be easy removing the insulation with ordinary wire strippers. I included a picture of a 6AWG copper lug on the cable for illustration purposes only. The 6AWG copper lug would not go on the cable unless the insulation is removed but after the insulation was removed the lug fit pretty loose (it was not a snug fit)...the lug can spin and fall out unless crimped or soldered. Thanks Amazon, Amazon Employees/drivers and WindyNation ! !

Love the thickness of this wire. It will certainly work well on my 2000w inverter. The colors are a plus and will protect my camper. Its stiffness is a plus also. The length is just right.

My ViAir compressor stopped working within 18 months of mounting on my 2002 Ford F-350 dually 4X4. ViAir did not impress me! I upgraded to the ARB dual compressor and it was substantially more money but it is a true water resistant compressor for off road use. My ARB compressor is used for my onboard air system that runs my air bags, Pacbrake, and air pig tail to air up tires. The original wire was 10 gauge for the ViAir compressor, however, the ARB pushes 60 amps and it was required to upgrade my wiring to 6 gauge for the additional amperage. I’ve bought the 2 gauge in the past for my quick disconnect that runs from the front to back of my truck. I use this for jumping a vehicle, running my winch, but most of the time I use it to run my 16 GVW dump trailer. I set the dump trailer up to run off my truck as opposed to the designated battery on the dump…no one can borrow/use it…lol. The wire is high quality and you won’t regret using it.

Good HD welder cable type jacket on wire, so Good flexibility and should hold up to being moved around. I used it for connecting a light duty "2000 lbs" ATV as winch power wire. The cable jacket appears to be the same as what is used on my welding machines but smaller guage. I knew that when I ordered it, so I wasn't surprised. The wire soldered easy to copper lugs, with minimal jacket burning. I used propane torch to solder the lugs on.

Using in my solar panel and truck-to-RV battery charging system. Good wire. Don't get that copper-clad-aluminum wire. That stuff will corrode and fail in a matter of years. This is the good stuff....all copper wire! Pay more, work less, play more!
