We made the purchase despite reading some negative reviews. So glad we did. The product came quick. It was well packaged and not damaged. It came with all parts and pieces to assemble. The product is heavy duty particle board with a veneer finish. Looks nice and seems sturdy. This product comes COMPLETELY unassembled. There is over 50 pieces to put together and more than 250 parts to use…230 being screws. Shouldn’t use an electric screwdriver or you risk over-tightening and breaking the particle board. So it is labor intensive to put together properly. Took two people with lots of experience about 3 hours using a manual screw driver. However, instructions were thorough and understandable. Instructions use both written and pictures. You need to pay close attention to the exact location for each of the different types of screws in the proper holes. Best put together by two people …one to double check instructions and do quality control. The only instruction lacking was which direction the top goes on….the back has small starter holes which is not noted in the instructions. Overall a very pleased with the product.

This dresser is defective due to manufacturing issues. Several of the pre-drilled holes are not aligned with the corresponding parts, which makes it impossible to assemble the furniture correctly. This is not an assembly error, but a clear factory defect, as the components simply do not fit together as designed. Because of these defects, the dresser cannot be assembled or used, even when the instructions are followed carefully. If you look closely at the photos posted by other customers after they assembled their dressers, you can clearly see drawer misalignment, which further confirms that this is a widespread manufacturing issue and not an isolated case. It is also important to mention that this item was not shipped from an Amazon warehouse, even though the listing clearly states “30-day free returns.” Based on that information, I reasonably expected a free return for a defective item, which should be fair and standard practice. Instead, I was required to cover return shipping costs myself. I went to UPS to request a shipping estimate and was informed that the return shipping would cost over $300, which is more than the price I paid for the item. Additionally, there is no guarantee that the shipping cost would be reimbursed. The box is extremely large and heavy (over 100 lbs), and due to its size, it must be transported by truck, which significantly increases the shipping cost. Amazon should not only protect sellers, but also protect customers from sellers who engage in this type of behavior. Policies like this allow defective products to be sold while discouraging returns through excessive shipping costs, which is unfair to customers.

Very cheap quality, if you are gonna buy, be prepared to provide ur own screws/ wood pegs for this because it is so fragile !

So happy with how it turned out! It took about 2-3 hours to build with 2 people and a drill not just a screwdriver. Don’t attempt to do this by yourself - it’ll take a really long time and also some pieces are very heavy to maneuver on your own. Directions look intimidating at first but take your time and it’ll work out perfectly. Nothing was missing and super happy about the quality!
