The original objective of purchasing this tool was to place in the back of an extended length SUV to be able to easily grab items that slide forward during transport. It has proven highly effective to do that plus many other things. As a short person, I am constantly reaching for things throughout the house. I use it to help me push things off of taller shelving units or push things back onto shelving units. In addition I use it to retrieve the pond pump so I can clean the filter in our Koi pond. I have even used it to hold a dog toy during a training activity. My only complaint about this product is that sometimes I have to tighten the screws in place after use. It is lightweight very portable and I like that it can be secured by the magnet in the car or to a shelving unit at home. The cost was very reasonable considering the amount of times I have used this item.

This truck bed grabber is exactly what I wanted for my Chevy 2500hd. With a soft roll-up cover, it sucked having to roll it up and out any time I wanted to get something that made its way to the back. I didn’t even need to use the metal bracket as the magnets were strong enough to stick to the bed directly and it fit into the grooves perfectly. See photo.

Just what i needed to reach things in the bed of truck, without having to climb in to the bed. its got a good amount of extention. It seems pretty solid we will see how it holds up. I haven't tried to move anything with a large amount of weight with it yet but sofar so good it moves around my sthil farm boss chain saw and logging chain in the bed of the farm truck just fine.
