We decided to go on an end of the season camping trip. I was pleasantly surprised with the easy set up of the tent. It has what I call a covered porch in the front that is perfect spot for shoes so you don't track dirt into tent. It can also be zipped up and used as a private area to take off wet clothes if needed. The tent is huge on the inside. We had a king size air mattress, a blow up love seat, a chair,and table set up with room to spare. It made our camping trip one of the most enjoyable ones we have had. It is made out of very durable material and the tent poles are very strong. Between the size,durability, and ease of putting up I highly recommend this tent for your next camping trip. ... show more

Very unhappy bought this this special for the 4th of July and when we had the first storm (WINDS JUST OVER 30 MPH) with winds coming from the back side of the tent because there were only 2 lines support on the back corners (there are 8 in the front of the tent) the tent collasped forward bending the pole at the joint (another poor design). Tent was no longer able stand with the damaged pole. I would not suggest anyone purchase this tent unless they live in an area where there is no wind. ... show more

We bought this tent prior to Memorial Day weekend, we got to our site at about 9 PM so it was dark and we had the tent up in about 10 minutes in the dark it rained majority of the weekend and we stayed dry. I recommend doing what my wife and I did and that’s set up the tent at home once prior to going and then set up in the dark is super easy even with a 5 year old Asking a million and one questions about anything and every thing. We had plenty of space with two queen size air mattresses I would buy this tent every time. The bottom tarp floor is on the thinner side so what we did was we took them outdoor plastic camping rugs and put two under the tent for protection against anything puncturing the floor. Even with the rain we had an amazing weekend and the tent over did its job. ... show more

This is a good sized tent, allowing room for 3 adults with twin air mattresses and room for gear, though it is not as big as the largest cabin tents by Core Equipment or the older Eureka Copper Canyon. We arranged 1 mattress on along each end, and one in between on the back wall, allowing space for walking and standing. I put down a 5’ x 4’ rug in front of the door. The tub-style floor is made of a heavy tarp material, which held up well to a week of camping. The covered entryway was a key feature for me. It allowed for dry entry/exit in the rain, and allowed for a little extra privacy when the door window was unzippered for airflow. Airflow itself was decent, I would have preferred windows that were larger and could be open in the rain, or some rain proof lower vents. We did experience a couple of brief rain storms, both with gusty winds ahead of the rain, and moderate to heavy rain for up to 2 hours. We zipped down the door on the awning and I watched for pooling on the sides of the tent above the windows, and the entryway where the ram looked highest, but they seemed to drain well. We stayed completely dry, and no water dripping in when you opened the door. Like others, I felt the poles seemed like they weren’t terribly strong or sturdy, but they did hold up. Only one set of poles (2 of 5) is marked (the side poles have a bit of green tape, but the center poles and front awning pole have no marker). After struggling, I added an additional piece of tape on the awning pole to eliminate future set up confusion. Setting up most of the Guy lines on the rain fly were important for overall structural stability, though there were 2 guy lines in the front corners that seemed not to really make a difference for tension or support. My family has lived camping in this tent for a few years now. It’s spacious and tall. It’s easy to set up. (I’ve done it by myself on more than one occasion). However today it met its match in with our dog. First time bringing her along on a camping weekend and she put several holes in the side of the tent. The fabric is thin. Unfortunately, once the hole was there it tore very easily and we will most likely need to get a new tent for our next trip. ... show more
