This 12v pack feels like the real thing - similar build quality, colors and materials, even a shock absorbing rubber base which you don’t find on these aftermarket batteries very often. Tried it both my PEX tool and pin nailer - worked great, although it is little harder to remove than the OEM batteries, a bit more friction when removing. I was concerned it would bottom out in the pin nailer before being fully seated, but there is just enough room to fit and doesn’t get in the way too much. I haven’t had a chance to push it to its limits in terms of charge life yet, and longevity will take a while to prove out as well, but so far it’s performing well as a substitute OEM pack.

The media could not be loaded. I got this battery for my Milwaukee 12v cordless tools, of which I have several. Anyone who has cordless power tools knows that you can never have too many batteries. As OEM Milwaukee battery prices rise, it makes sense to try out these clones. Most of my Milwaukee 12v OEM batteries are the compact size 2.0 Ah capacity, but I do have one that is the larger size 4.0 Ah. The Fayeey battery that I am reviewing here is the same physical size as my OEM 4.0 Ah batteries, but has a much higher rating of 6.5 Ah. Note that I have some other aftermarket batteries for the Makita M12 platform that are rated at 7.0 Ah, but I don’t think the difference between those and this 6.5 Ah battery would be noticeable in use. When I received this battery, it had almost a full charge, but I put it on my Milwaukee OEM charger. Most battery makers as recommend charging before using for the first time. Charging appeared to work fine. Note that some battery makers indicate that 3 to 5 charge/discharge cycles are required for the battery to achieve its full capacity. The pictures show a comparison between this Fayeey and my OEM Milwaukee battery. As you can see, the size of the two is virtually identical. I used this battery for a project in my Milwaukee drill and impact tool. Both worked fine and, while not an exhaustive test, they did a good job and still showed a full charge after use. Note that the Fayeey battery I tested fit properly and without any problems in multiple OEM Milwaukee 12v tools. One item to note is that this battery has a rubber-like finish on bottom similar to the OEM Milwaukee. Some of my other aftermarket batteries have more of a hard plastic finish in the bottom. So, two questions that come up are (1) how long before the battery is discharged under a really long work session and (2) how long will the battery hold up under long term use. Some of my Milwaukee batteries are several years old so, hopefully, this battery will last just as long. I do not use my tools in a professional environment, but as active do-it-yourselfer, home mechanic, and race car owner, I expect a lot from my tools.

It works just like my high cap oem batteries in my propress tool. It works fine in my oem chargers and has just about the same lasting power. The press-in retention pads mate well with my tools, athough on the stiff side, but still locks in place and removeable on the first try. Hard to tell apart from the oem, except this has a value price point.

The Bad: Nothing I haven't been able to verify how much power this thing holds, but it is a LOT compared to the largest Milwaukee M12 batteries (which hold 60Wh). Again, if these specs are true, this can't be beat. To satisfy my curiosity, each battery has 6-18650 cells in it. I think they're arranged in 3S+2P. To meet the 78Wh spec, each cell would need about 3500mAh which is what the newest, best cells can deliver. (Sadly, I couldn't tell who made these cells.) As such, I suspect the Wh is slightly exaggerated, but it probably does do 6Ah based on my usage which would only require 3250mAh batteries.

I recently grabbed a 3.0ah battery, which is very similar to the OME batteries, and it has been working fine, but the fit is a bit tighter than it should be. Here, this battery fits in nicely and everything. It is shaped differently, it has a larger base on it. But it is not so large to be weird or anything. As of right now, I totally recommend this battery. Again, I know I have not had it long, but initial usage has proved to be promising. And the capacity may cause my other batteries to be somewhat useless now lol... Good thing I have a few tools from this ecosystem, I guess they can now have their own of the old batteries and this will be my main guy... So far, so good!

For price, these are an excellent spare battery. They fit all my m12 tools and the charger as well. They definitely hold a charge and perform better than expected. No complaints on the build quality.
