I’m not sure why, but track saw blades are almost impossible for me to source locally. I was happy to find this blade online as an alternative for the Makita brand blades. I will still probably rely on the more expensive blades for more important cuts. But I have been using this blade to rip down 3/4” plywood for cabinet boxes and I have had no issues at all. So far, so good.

This is a great blade for the Makita track saw. It is just a s good and cuts just as cleanly as the original blade that came with the saw. This is the second blade I have ordered from this company and the first one was also very good. The only problem was the blade was only 160mm (made for the Festool track saw) not 165mm as this one is. You can still use it, you just have to compensate for the difference when planning your cut depth. Also, the scoring pass will be slightly shallower. I have used this blade to cut down Baltic Birch plywood and melamine so far. The quality of all the cuts was very good and left a very clean edge. The cost is a little cheaper than the OEM blades and as I do not use my track saw that often they should last a while before I need to get a new one. I can definitely recommend this blade for use with the Makita track saw.

The blade comes with a varnish or lacquer dipped anti-rust finish. Before using the blade be sure to use solvent to remove the coating or it will behave like it is dull or pitch loaded. This will also remove the factory printing from the blade as it is not etched. Otherwise it cuts well once cleaned. As long as the price stays less than a Makita or Festool blade this is a worthy option. I have no idea why a 7 1/4 blade can be $10 and a 6 1/2 blade with a 20mm hole is in the $40 to $60 range.

Cannot beat the price point on this blade compared to a Makita blade. Replaced my old blade and made several cuts in 2X4's and various material. Cut right through no problem. Very happy with this blade.

Running this in a track saw and it seem comparable to the original, which was also good. Clean smooth cuts and little to no chipping on the "good side" of the cut under the track - which is what you want in a track saw blade. For general purpose sheets goods, this is great. For expensive finish cuts, some materials would benefit from having more teeth but this is a good balance for both cross and rip cuts in a lot of materials and finer blades can have trouble with rip cuts. Good performance so far and a decent value.

I really wanted to like this saw blade, but the center hole was punched in such a manner that a lip was formed on both sides of the blade. There was no way I'd use the blade where there was the chance that the blade was going to wobble. I decided to work on the blade with a Dremel to clean up the hole and then try it out. But I'd not want to have to do this with each blade I purchase.

Ordered this B-07353 165mm X 20mm 48T Carbide Tipped Blade for Makita for my hand held 18v Makita drill. I had an aging Dewalt blade on it that was getting really dull so the timing was perfect. I have not changed the blade many times. This blade was about twice as thick and had more teeth than what I had on there. It came with the edge protected in plastic and with a small metal ring that was necessary in order to mount the blade on the hand held saw. Ran it through some composite board and 2x4 and it ripped through it very cleanly. Don't run enough volume to give comparison advice against other saw blades but I can say this one is balanced well, sharp, cuts great and is a huge improvement over what I was running. Glad I ordered it.
