Installed it and ran for a few days before noticing that there was a pin hole leak at the bottom weld joint. It fit good and was easy to install but the quality control was not the best.

    • One Big Problem

This radiator fit like a glove. However, the hose barbs that are installed for the transmission fluid cooler do not make sense at all. The transmission lines on a Ford F-250 are hard lines that utilize a spring retention fitting. I was able to remove the proper fittings from my old radiator, but the hose barbs on the new radiator aren’t threaded the same. The hose barbs are course threads, while the OEM spring retention fittings are fine threads. What are they thinking? In order to utilize the OEM transmission coolant lines and fittings, I had to apply high temp pipe dope and carefully torque in the fittings without cracking the new radiator. If they are not going to provide the appropriate fittings, at least thread the radiator so a person can utilize the OEM fittings off the old radiator. This ended up being a bit of a spoiler and will result in a downgrade to one star should these fittings end up leaking. Other than this major fail, the radiator is quite nice. ... show more

Ordered this because the shipping speed was faster than the other all aluminum radiators in the OEM price range and I needed my truck up and running ASAP. Thinner than factory, solid looking weld's, brass petcock, came with the male fittings for the later model 6.0s but my 03 fittings from my old radiator fit well (didn't thread all the way, but the npt threads taper caught and held with about two threads to go), and I ground a slight taper to the inside of the bottom mounting studs. Actually cools slightly better than the factory one (I know because my thermostat is stuck open). Only been in two days so we'll see how it holds up, I'm just glad I don't have to worry about snapping the degas return nipple off again. ... show more
