BEST THING ABOUT IT: It fits my PC cordless nailers ADDITIONAL LIKES: doesn’t get hot while charging WORST THING ABOUT IT: nothing yet identified ADDITIONAL DISLIKES: small amp hour rating COMMENTS (Function, Appearance, Quality): This (Beotpcr) is the second of these batteries I’ve procured. They were listed by two different companies and I thought they would be two different brands. Upon receiving it, it looked identical to another generic 3.0 Ah/20 Volt Max for Porter Cable tools battery I purchased. The only difference is one of the warning labels on it. Otherwise, it performed similarly to the other battery in testing. It fit my charger and did not get excessively hot during the charging cycle. I have not been able to test its charge duration as all my devices use materials during operation (nailers). Despite the fact I suspect these are the same battery sold under different names, it remains a good generic choice. The output was 20.1 volts on testing. MOST SUITABLE FOR: individuals needing a back-up battery to get through a project IS IT WORTH IT?: At ~$26, i believe it is worth it to have a battery on hand to finish or start a project. *PRECISE RATING: 4 stars (a bit lighter weight plastic compared to original) RECOMMENDATION: I recommend this battery for people who have Porter Cable 20V tools and do not already have a second battery. (As always, I will report back if there are any durability issues with additional use.) *Any downgrades in rating are a a result of issues identified with one or more of the following: Presentation/Packaging, Quality, Craftsmanship, Materials, Functionality, Utility/Versatility, Instructions, Ease-of-Use, Comfort, Value.

I fell into the same trap as another user. I have no way to test this, thinking that this listing showed a few compatible models and fit (as "stated") up to 20v tools. This is my own fault mostly, but please do be aware that this listing can feel a bit misleading. If your tool's model number isn't listed on the specific compatibility list, expect it not to fit your tool. If, by some miracle, I happen upon one of these specific tools, I will amend my review.

This battery is replacing an older battery I have for a Porter Cable circular saw. I don't have any other Porter Cable tools currently to test this battery in. The battery charged just fine with no issues and the saw cut just fine with no issues. I've only had a dozen cuts to make on one charge and I was able to make those cuts on one battery charge with no issue. I can't validate how well the battery compares against a new Porter Cable battery. However, for my light use of this battery and saw it works just fine with no issues and is a better value then the brand name since I don't need to try and squeeze every ah out of the battery.

The battery on our Porter Cable flashlight needed to be replaced so I got this one. So far, there has been no issue at all. I almost forgot that I had received this and my husband had changed out the old one. I was reminded when I needed to get under the kitchen cupboard to find out what was leaking. (Fun, fun!) These batteries do eventually stop holding a charge, but for now I'm happy with this one and intend to use it for a number of years before it needs to be retired. This particular battery was $6 less than at the local big box store. Saving $$ always makes me happy.

The lifespan is nice compared to the other batteries I have gotten. This one last strong through the last light where as my old batteries are getting very weak in the final two lights of charge. In other words, this battery stays strong through to the last charge light my other ones get weak starting around the two light mark.
