This rug pretty much fits the bill for what it says it is, nothing more, nothing less. It's nice looking, it's soft (the texture, not soft as in fluffy), and it lies flat and covers the floor as it should, no corners sticking up which drives me nuts. The design is nice, though it seems a bit more faded than it looked on the page, just not quite as bold. Not so much that it bothers me though. This is a thin rug, very thin, so if you're looking for something thick and plush this is not the one for you. I have bathmats that are thicker than this. However, if you want something that will cover the floor and is easy to clean this is perfect.

I was surprised when this area rug (5 x 7) arrived folded in what looked like a bag for sheets rather than a rolled-up carpet, but soon learned that was due to the thinness of the rug. It is VERY thin, but not in a low-quality sense. The softness of the rug’s surface and the grip of the backing are both terrific, and the pattern and color are both very attractive. Despite arriving folded, the rug did not have major creasing and unfurled quite nicely. And it definitely stays in place even on a high-gloss wood floor and without a grippy carpet pad underneath it. If you simply want the look of the rug and are not concerned with thickness of the pile or cushion from the rug itself (for example to use over wall to wall carpeting or in an office environment with a rolling desk chair), this is a great option. You might be a tad disappointed though if you want something thicker/more cushioned under foot, so be aware when buying. Overall highly satisfied with the rug and would recommend.
