Builder had about 8 inches of copper water lines sticking out under all the bathroom cabinets so there no room for storage. Old valves were soldered on. The price and reviews were good. I cleaned all the copper lines with Scotch Brite to remove paint on four different sinks. Turned off water and replaced eight valves. One dripped a little and it stopped after I pushed it deeper on the copper pipe. These 1/4 turn valves are GREAT. I wish I found these before. These can be removed and used again.
