As a person who reviews a lot of mechanical keyboards of varying price ranges, many have asked me to review aviator cables. So, you may be wondering “what the heck is that?”. Well, aviator cables are known for reducing wear on USB ports, if you switch keyboards often. They are either braided or a thicker gauge than the standard keyboard cable, all with the their different prices and some that are really awesome and well-made and some that sound like they are well-made but are complete duds. These are on the good side! Works perfectly and for the many mechanical keyboards I have and switching out. I prefer using aviator cables and the NEBULABS keyboard cable is very good! Because this uses the standard aviator cable connection, this will work with other third party aviator cables with the same type of connection. And not so expensive at under $30! Recommended!

Such a nice coiled cord for my mechanical keyboard. I keep a small mechanical keyboard for a spare iMac to the side of my workspace. Having this on that secondary keyboard manages the slack in the cable, allowing it to be moved forward to center and returned to the side; it also just looks better. My keyboard's USB-C port is not recessed; it is just straight out the back which is one of the reasons a coiled cord seemed like a good idea. It helps relieve strain from damaging the port as opposed to the straight cable it replaced. I found that pairing that with a 90 degree magnetic USB-C adapter works perfectly. The metal end on this cable looks great, and the adapter releases should there be too much pull, but with the coiled cable that is rarely the case. The coil is not designed to be stretched out, and retract, but is certainly sufficient at preventing a sharp pull from reaching the port. This cable does what I got it for and certainly deserves a 5 star rating. Thank you NEBULABS!!!

This able is absolutely great looking. I love the connectors on it however they didn't fit on my keyboard but thats ok, I always keep some small extensions on hand, just be aware of that. Other than that the connectors look great and the cable coil holds it's shape pretty well. The price for this cable just makes it so much better. Highly recommend this one 10/10!

First time having one of these Gaming Mechanical Aviator coiled USBC cables, very surprised on the quality and the heft of the hardware. It's very well made, materials feel solid and the metal pieces are very well crafted. The red really pops against my frosted desk mat and the dark color of my desk and keyboard set up. It is actually a very nice addition to my desk and keeps everything nice and tidy as the spring coil part of the cable serves almost like a built in cable management feature. The USB-A connector is also very sturdy, I like the hardware that was used on it and the look of it. The cable came very nicely packaged along with a soft drawstring carry case which I think is a cool touch in case you have to store the cable away or moving/changing set ups often. Very easy to set up and adds a nice touch of color to any desk set up. Highly recommend as a gift to any gamer or tech enthusiasts who like wired keyboards/peripherals.

Ridiculously over-engineered cable. But super cool. Detachable connector is very sturdy and is threaded, can’t accidentally disconnect. The USB connectors are pretty sturdy too, nickel plated and exposed screws, really like the style. The braided cable feels good and looks like it’ll last. I’m hard wiring a Bluetooth keyboard that DOES still work using its battery but the aggressive built-in sleep mode is frustrating (takes a while to wake up before you can log in). In that capacity, this cable works perfectly to charge and physically connect to my Mac Mini. Not much else to say; it’s a cable, it looks cool, it works great. It’s not cheap because it’s built well. 5 stars.

As enthusiast cables go, the overall quality of this is rather nice for the price. It has more of an "aviator" feel to it than a lot of the plastic-sheathed cables in the same range, and I like that the USB C connector isn't on a long extension of the coil. On the other hand, this ships in a plastic bag. So, my cable looked like it had a rough journey on its way to my house, and not having any sort of protective packaging, it arrived very misshapen. I suppose with a lot of time and care, I could get it to coil back to the way it was intended to look. But for the price, you shouldn't expect to have to re-work the cable. A box isn't an unreasonable ask here.
