This tree is fun, when it isn't falling apart. Grab the tip and wiggle it and you have got yourself a dancing Christmas tree. But because the poles only slide into each other instead of attach, it's always falling apart when the kids touch it. So if you have it in a store display where it cannot be touched by kids, it will do great. This took about 5 minutes to assemble, even without instructions. Just connect the legs to the base, the rods all together, and then the top has a piece that fits into the support pole and then it’s ready to go! On a funny side note, before I put the tree on the pole, it looked like it would function as a festivus pole, haha! So if you celebrate festivus, this would work as a pole! The tree comes with a light kit, wvjich I have t tried yet, but it’s battery operated. Some of the icicles fell off as I was stringing it around the tree, but they still look nice; I’ll probably get those going soon. I’d highly recommend this for anywhere, but this would be a good dorm, or work tree since it sets up so very easily, looks great, is very lightweight, and you don’t really need instructions to get it assembled. Great little tree. I am not going to use the lights just because I do not want to. The construction of both the tree and the light string is good. It's easy to put up and lightweight.
