While I was disappointed I couldn't find any of the "old style" bean bags with the little styrofoam beads in them, this was the next best thing. It's very well made, and the cover is a thick, soft and comfortable cover that has a really large zippered opening to go over the "bean " bag itself. You can remove the cover for washing if need be. It also has a fabric handle sewn in to carry it by, although I must say, these are pretty big and slightly heavy. I can only imagine how big the larger sizes are. I could barely get it in the car after it was expanded. This also has a pocket on the side for your phone, or a tv remote, etc. The foam filling is a little stiffer than I'd like since I'm used to the old squishy bean bag types, but you can still woller around and get comfortable in this one. Some people stated they had to remove some of the filling, and I guess that depends on your personal preference and maybe the size and weight of the person using it. So far these have been well liked by the kids. I'd say they will last a long time and the black is a deep rich color. They come compressed in a pretty small plastic bag and it took about 2 days for this one to fully expand. I shook it around a couple of times and that helped. This seems like a high quality bag and time will tell if it holds up. I'll update if and when there are any problems. We got two of these, a black and a gray one. I'm not sure if the price is right or not since we haven't shopped for these in decades but it seems like a good deal.

I’m honestly blown away by how much I love this bean bag chair! The Hobestluk 5ft Bean Bag is way more than just a giant sack—it’s become the coziest spot in my entire home. The size is perfect—plenty of room for one adult to sprawl out, or even two people to snuggle up for a movie night. The cover is super soft and high-quality, and it zips off easily for washing, which is a huge plus. It came compressed, but fluffed up beautifully after a day or two. I bought the Hobestluk 5ft Bean Bag Chair (Grey, 50” x 50” x 24”) for my 11-year-old, and it’s become their favorite spot in the house! Bro never leaves his room now as he just loves lying in it reading his book or playing Switch. The cover is super soft and cozy, perfect for lounging during movie nights or reading sessions in their bedroom. It’s big enough for them to sprawl out or share with me if we read together, but not so huge it overwhelms their room. The memory foam filling is comfy and supportive, and it fluffs up nicely after a quick shake, though it took a couple of days to fully expand out of the box, which wasn't a big deal. My kid loves how they can sink into it or prop it up for a chair-like seat. The machine-washable cover is a lifesaver for spills—yay for no stress over juice stains! The only downside is it’s a bit heavy (around 50 lbs) to move, so we keep it in one spot. Also, it’s slightly smaller than the listed 5ft, more like 4.5ft, but it’s still plenty roomy for my little dude (or me!). It’s a durable, fun addition to their space, and they’re obsessed.

doesn't look like picture. It is really nice though! And very comfortable. It may look weird upon opening, but if you roll it around your house for 10 min or down the stairs like 3-5 times, it'll look normal. Looks nice!

Purchased this as a gift for my petite wife knowing it is on the smaller side. Size wise...it's an okay fit even for me as average male. However...we are not impressed at all with the fill. It is most certainly not a "bean" bag chair. Rather, it is filled with literal chunks of some kind of foam. It sounds silly but you can feel the edge of pieces of foam through the cover...no it doesn't hurt, but it is not comfortable. Between the lumpyness of the foam chunks and the lack of really supporting a person sitting on it we can't recommend this at all for adult use as stated in the product title. At best, it was an expensive foot rest. Our smaller dog will sit on/in it sometimes if she doesn't fall out of it as it rolls. A couple of young nieces "played" with it again mostly thinking it was fun to roll off it because it has zero support characteristics so really I wouldn't even recommend it for a child if you intend to actually use it as something to sit on.

I purchased this "bean bag chair" for my teen. It came tightly packaged - double wrapped in shrink wrap plastic and then in a box. Taking thr bean bag out of the box was difficult and took completely breaking the box - just to get the bag out. There was a warning tag for a "spongy smell," which I could smell, but wasn't overpowering. The soft cover comes in the package and is quick to zip around the bean bag chair prior to it reaching it's full size. After about 4 hours, we no longer saw much growth. My son says the bean bag chair is comfortable, but there is not a lot of support in it at all. Definitely does not look the same as it does in the advertisement photos. There are no traditional "bean bag" materials, either. It seems like cut up pieces of sponge - I am not sure how durable that is going to be or how long it will hold up. I am not convinced that we are keeping this item yet.
