Have this tackle box set 3 stars mainly because of the quality. My son is a huge fisherman and was so excited that I ordered a separate fresh water kit. We live on the coast so he has mainly saltwater items but he loves going to some of the local private ponds/lakes to fish as well. He was very pleased with many of the contents- lures, hooks, tools, etc. However the box itself is not the greatest- just ok. I took side view pic to show the plastic quality. He plans to remove the contents and store in better tackle boxes. That said- he was impressed with how many choices were included in the box- including itsy bitsy hooks. Not sure how many uses he will get from these items, but glad I ordered. I don’t know that I would say it is worth the price tag though…pretty steep.

Decent starter kit you can build on This kit gives you a lot right out of the box and works as a basic starting point if you don’t have much gear yet. Everything is organized and you get a mix of lures and accessories to experiment with. That said, the overall quality doesn’t match the price at $49.99 (price at time of order). The tackle box itself feels a bit cheap, and a large portion of the kit is soft “jelly” style lures rather than a balanced mix. There also aren’t as many hooks and core tackle items as I expected for a box this size. It’s also marketed as a bass fishing kit, but I didn’t see any frogs included, which are pretty standard for that use. It’s usable, just feels padded with filler rather than focused on higher quality essentials. It's ok to build on. When you think about the fact that you can spend $10 on a good single lure then it puts the value into perspective.

My father is a long time fisherman in the midwest region, and so I had him take a look at these, to see how useful they would be. And for him, he said that there really isn't much that would work well for Northerners nor Walleyes, though he did say that there were some lures on here that would work well for bass. Value wise it is mixed - this stuff is cheaper than if you bought seperately at any store so you would be saving money, but you can also get other kits that are a better value for how much is being asked for these. If this kit was perhaps a bit cheaper then the value ration would be higher, but the case itself (kinda cheap and flimsy) kinda sets off the general tone. So if you can find a kit that is for your specific fish, that would be better. As a generic kit, they are asking too much imo. But if you are desperate for a fishing kit and something to use, this will function fine.

I got this fishing kit for my son because he’s been going fishing with his dad since he was little, and recently he kept saying he wanted his own set instead of borrowing. When the box came, he sat on the floor and went through everything one by one like a kid again, which was honestly really nice to see. There’s a lot packed inside, so we didn’t have to buy anything extra. We took it to the lake last weekend and he was so proud using his “own gear,” and even caught a couple small fish. Only giving 4 stars because once everything is inside, the box feels a bit heavy, and sorting it all at the beginning took us a while. If it had some simple labels or guide, it would be even better. Overall, still a great starter set.

This fishing lures kit is a huge selection and makes a great start for a collection. My kids have been wanting to go fishing, but buying everything separately would take forever and get expensive, so this bundle was perfect. It comes with tons of lures, hooks, weights, and other tackle, plus a solid tackle box that keeps everything organized and easy to carry. The box itself is nice and sturdy with good compartments. You just need to add some poles and fishing line, and you'll be set for some good family time on the water. I’ll definitely be adding more to this kit over time. Happy with it overall.
