These are great beginner cues and are nicely weighted and balanced. The finish is very smooth along the shaft. The finishing on the handle looks a bit cheesy, but they're comfortable to grip. These come with unrounded tips so you will need a tool to round them, which is easily done. For a bad/average player like myself, they are perfect.

These pool cue sticks feel premium. There is a texture to the thicker end which feels like it gives good grip. The weight is balanced as expected. The coffee color and pattern create a classic look. These cues are quite heavy. One weighs 22 ounces, while the other weighs 22.4 ounces. Shooting for extended periods can take a toll on your shoulder. The tips on these cues are made of hard leather and have a protective coating that must be sanded off before use if you want any chalk to adhere to its surface. The butts of the cues feature a crosshatch design that aids in grip control. They are painted with a thick layer of yellow-brown/rust color on the butt end of the stick. The bumpers are securely attached to the cue sticks. However, I discovered that the weights at the core of the cues are sealed inside and cannot be changed after removing the screw from the bumper. Considering their affordable price, heavy weight, and hard tip, these cues could make decent break cues. Additionally, they might be suitable for practice due to their affordability. Instead of practicing changing or shaping tips on your more expensive sticks, you could practice removing and installing tips and ferrules onto these cues. Before using, I had to apply dry lubrication to the threaded connectors to ensure smooth operation, as one stick got stuck together when I first started using them. Ultimately, the functionality of these cues depends on how you shoot; try them, you might find you like them.

These are five star beginner/intermediate pool cues. Are they going to satisfy a pro or most league players? Probably not, but you won't think it is a bad cue; you'd likely just gravitate to something pricier. This is a great entry level cue set. They are smooth so it shoots well. They have good balance. The screw sections connect tightly. And the price is amazing.
