My wife and I are volunteer block captains for our city's neighborhood emergency preparedness plan. Water storage and accessibility have been a regular focus of our meetings over the years. This tank by Hive Innovations is our favorite; and in our opinion, it is far superior to others on the market. First, we love how it securely stacks on top of each other. Obviously, this feature allows you to store more water in whatever space you have available, but this tank is built to interconnect with each other to provide stability as well. Second, the spout can be easily accessed even if the tank is stacked on top of another one. Other "stackable" tanks haven't taken into consideration that you need some room to attach a hose or to get a pitcher under it. Third, you have instant access. All you have to do is turn the spout. You don't need to buy special tools to open the tank or to pump the water out. Don't waste your money on other products - this is the tank you want in an emergency. ... show more

My husband and I have been wanting water storage for a while but couldn’t find anything that would fit well in our garage without taking up a lot of space.     • Worth it for convenience alone
The media could not be loaded. These tanks are convenient! They make water storage compact, convenient to fill, and easy to get water out of the tanks. I didn't need a siphon or bung wrench with these which is less bulky and less work overall. I was worried about hose clearance for the bottom tank. You would need more of a flexible hose to connect at the bottom of the tank if it is sitting directly on a floor (see picture) than a construction hose. They are round enough that cleaning them prior to use is still convenient to fill it around a driveway, but note they are not a perfect cylinder in shape. Overall, I wish I knew these existed when I got my first water storage barrels because I would've bought these. ... show more
