I was concerned by the reviews that described this as flimsy and not sturdy enough to hold a 14 lb cat. My daughter and I had no real problem assembling, didn't time but it didn't seem to take long, maybe one half hour. I have two cats, a brother and sister, girl is 7 lb and boy is 14 lb. They love it. I have not seen the boy climb all the way to the top, but both have spent time in the highest, largest room. I have video of the 7 lb happily standing on hind legs on the very top platform trying to get a bug that is just outside the window. With only 2 support the top 2 tiers do have some movement, but so far that has not created any problems. I couldn't be happier with this product and the price I paid for it. ... show more

This cat tower arrived quickly. It was not really difficult to put together, although I think my years of building scale model cars in my youth helped. It all went together fine, although I ended up pretty much stripping the allen wrench that was supplied getting all of the bolts nice and tight. Having had cats all my life, I can say that most cats will enjoy this tower. Just make sure you attach it to the wall or tie it to a post or something -- it could tip over if a cat jumps off of the top and it's not secured. ... show more

Decent cat tree for the price. I would recommend this really for kittens under the age of 1, as once they get bigger the tree isn't stable enough to hold their weight well. Life/Stability of the tree might be extended by utilizing the strap to attach it to the wall but I personally wouldn't recommend it if your cat enjoys playing/thrashing around on it as it may damage the wall. ... show more

This cat tree is pretty nice….Im not good at putting stuff together & I felt like I needed an engineering degree for this one…but it came together well & all the pieces were there , nothing missing in my shipment so that’s a plus👍🏻 The materials are pretty sturdy & it doesn’t look cheap, considering the price😊 The color was exactly as it looks online. I like the design of this cat tower and my cats do use it. It’s a good size and they like to climb on it. My little kitten likes to curl up in the little seat at the top. I probably would not buy this one again, however. First of all, the directions it came with made no sense, so I had to assemble without them. Also, it is not very sturdy and always leans to one side. The part where the cats scratch tore off not long after I bought it. I guess I learned my lesson buying a cheaper one. Next time I will get a better quality one. ... show more

The package came and I initially decided to return it. After a (very quick!) response from the seller I decided to keep it and am I happy I did. While we (he) put it together my cat was already showing interest which is rare, the "fur" covering seemed to interest her. It came together pretty quickly, the only feedback being the size of the screws in the diagram could be differentiated little better as they appeared to be the same (and weren't). After it was up, she inspected it, rubbing against it and marking it. She's slept in the cube and in top. The pedestals are a little too small for her but I can stash treats up there which encourages her to climb so NBD. The only negative I'd give it is it's too easy for one of my dogs to climb up it when she's seen me leave treats for the cat. But that's a fun negative to have. Especially when the cat baps the dog when she gets too close to HER play toy. ... show more

Great cat tree. The only complaint I have is that it leans slightly to one side, but not enough to make me subtract a star. Not sure if it’s a manufacturing issue or the way my husband put it together. Either way, it’s still very sturdy as it has taken quite a beating from my 4 year-old cat who plays on it mercilessly daily. He is lying on it and looking out the window as I type this. Cats love it. I will admit it was a little difficult to put together but once I figured it out everything went smooth. Not as sturdy as I would like for my 20 pound because it does wobble when he gets on it.
