We bought this cat tree for our three cats so they had somewhere to hang out in our office. The box was small, and this was priced pretty low, so our expectations were low. It is shockingly sturdy and our cats love it. Its cute with the little bats that they play with as well. We now often find them sleeping in it when we're not even in the room! Love it! My kitten was crawling into it as I assembled it and then played with it and fell asleep in it right away. I wanted a cave for her to hide in for some sanctuary from the dog and toddler, a scratching posts, a hammock with a ball hanging over it, and a bed at the top so she can look out the window easily. Plus I needed something pretty specific to fit in this space in my small home. The top hangs over the back a few inches which I didn’t account for when I was measuring, but it still fits nicely in the space and has everything I was looking for and more! This is just what we needed. Very easy to put together! My 12yr old grandson did it for me! It’s very sturdy too no tipping! Not too tall it sits just at the window so Mr. Leo can see out any time. I was concerned about width of hammock since he’s so big and very long and wide cat, about 17lbs! He has managed to fit perfectly curled up in the hammock. The top perch is a little narrow. Leo fits in the little cat house too! He hasn’t used the scratching or rubbing post yet too low for a large cat. Great value for the money! True to color! I have a large cat and I was afraid she would fit. This is a perfect functioning cat tower for my 14 lb cat. Was very easy to put together absolutely stable no wobbling. She doesn't use the cube very much but she loves the hammock and top portion for sleep!

Our two cats started using this the second we set it up and have not stopped. They LOVE it! Very soft, no off-putting smell. Our boys are ~14lbs each and the size works great. Probably the most successful cat purchase I've made.

    • The good and the bad of it.

I put it together today and one of my cats has used every part of it. Liiterally, every level, and both bat toys. The other cat gave it his sniff of approval. He enjoys the hammock. About putting it together, I and my homecare worker found the cube a nightmare to assemble. Plan on few f hours feeling in the dark of the cube for the spot where the screw goes. 8 times. I've assembled other cubes that were a breeze. This one requires patience and perserverance. The two big posts are not scratchers; I give them a week or two to total destruction. No sisal, just the imitation velvet material. They are only scraching posts if your cat is declawed or if clipping claws is a neurotic daily routine. At least it is safer than the ovused scrachers of their last hammock. The sisal was only strands that could have wrapped up their intestines. The engineering does not provide enough stability. But visual design looks even better than the picture. Truly beeautiful. ... show more
