When I purchased these, I was afraid they would not be very strong. They are indeed strong. I hung the heaviest thing I thought of. I washed my bed pillow cover which is a very thick material on the back. My bed pillow is rather large. So, I used about 6 or 7 clips to hang my cover to dry. I didn't need that many but I had a plastic hanger, and it was not sturdy, I used so many to distribute the weight evenly across the hanger. These little clips are awesome. Actually surprised at how good these worked. Aluminum covered deck so magnets would not work to hang lights. Tried the sticky hooks and they kept falling down. These little dudes are awesome, strong clips. Work great for hanging lights.

Read product description in full because it is a bit misleading. These were recommended for use with a tarp but are very small. Definitely not made for use with any type of tarp or tenting etc . They’re cute and would work well to hang kids drawings , photo display board etc or maybe with a vinyl sheeting. Can’t attest to their ability to withstand outdoor use either but I think probably doubtful. ... show more
