This de-icer is very easy to use. You just plug in the power and put the device where the ice are to melt it. It does take some time for the ice to melt though because it will not heat up right away. This device can be use for pond, water fountain and even car windshield. The device is not heavy which is very good.

During winter, my sister's farm is covered with snow and it takes her time to melt the ice to give her animals water. I bought this de-icer and we tried it on a block of ice to test. It starts to work when it's lower than 35 degrees F and immediately turns off when it hits 77 degrees F. It's extremely easy to use.

From day 1 I've used this to melt the ice for my outdoor animals! You just plug it in and starts working right away! It has so many practical uses as well, it takes a little time but it serves its purpose overall! I know it's gonna come in handy throughout the colder months!
