Description was somewhat accurate. Only “false” description was the ring. It came with a screw type holder that doesn’t “lock”. So like you can keep twisting the bolt on and I don’t care for it. But that’s not what I wanted, I wanted the nail tips so I’m pretty happy & satisfied.

The nail sticks themselves are great and helped me transition from going to the salon to doing my nails at home. I actually like doing my own nails but didn’t learn about the gel polishes until recently (I know, WAY behind, but I’m catching up!). Even then, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to buy all of the stuff required to do this myself, but I eventually did, and now I’ve even done chrome powders, as you can see. My only complaint about this ring of nail sticks is the ring itself, which does not stay closed. Kind of annoying to have to play pick up sticks AND put them back in the order I want them every time I want to play, so I deducted one star. Note the duct tape solution. Not the prettiest, but I solved my own problem well enough since I couldn’t seem to do it with a good pair of pliers. ... show more

These work for what I need them for, I just wish the quality was a little better. A lot of the tips aren’t smooth or super transparent and some have scratches all over them (pictures 2 & 3). Also, a lot if the tips are broken, with the right side of the tip broken off (pic 1). It is somewhat hard to see the true color of the acrylics through the tip, but they work well for dip powders. The packaging was simple, they came in a plastic bag. The black tips came in a nice silicone bag, which was interesting (pic 4). I've ordered thousands of nail swatch sticks in the last few years. I was so excited to find these on Prime. However, I have to say these are the lowest quality (which I believe is very hard to achieve) that I have purchased. Out of two sets ordered, over half of them came with the corners broken off of the nail tips. They're very thin plastic and flimsy. If it wasn't for having nearly 3/4 of them with broken corners, I wouldn't have bothered with the review. I ordered these to create swatches for my new dip powders, since the dry powder doesn't look the same in the bottles as they do when they're set. I got the opaque ones so that I can see the color without light getting through, and they're perfect. It looks exactly as it does on my nails when they're done. ... show more
