You have to heat up the material first, lay the iron-on star patch onto the material, then put a piece of parchment paper over the patch and iron on high temperature for 30 seconds. Voilà.!

These stars are so pretty and sparkly. I loved that the pack had a variety of different sizes. Unfortunately though, these were NOT adhering no matter what I tried. I ended up having to glue them onto my outfit which didn't quite work the way I was hoping.

I used these for a Barbie costume for Halloween and they worked perfectly! I placed some wax paper over the top when using my heat press for about 30 seconds and they stayed on for most of the duration of the Halloween party I attended. The only thing I wish I did differently was hold the heat press longer on the bigger stars. They started to peel off over time but can be easily reapplied.

Put it on the highest level on my iron and left it on for a solid 2 minutes while pressing down hard and still the edges are not sticking to the cotton shirt. Wish they worked better since they were exactly what I was looking for......also they arrive as one big mess since they're just thrown together into a bag so you gotta separate them
