I especially like how clear the glass is—it really shows off aquatic plants and hardscape nicely. The size is ideal for a betta, shrimp, snails, or a small planted setup, and it provides enough room to create a simple aquascape without feeling cramped. Maintenance has been straightforward. The open-top design makes it easy to clean, trim plants, and do water changes. Great nano tank. Glass is super clear and is 2 gallons as advertised. The silicone was the only issue for me. It seems like there’s just enough to hold the glass together. I did test it and it did hold water. Based on other reviews I’ve read about their tank leaking after some time, I decided to go over the seals with a thin layer of 100% silicone as a precaution. That’s the only reason for the 4 star rating. Tank has been up and running for about a month and no leaks. It’s a cheap and easy fix and seemed worth it for the price of the tank. Finding the right dimensions for a quality nano tank is hard, but this turned out to be a great purchase. ... show more

This tank is just as described. I don't see any flaws in the glass. My betta seems happy. The real star of the show was the packaging. There was a thick, sturdy box with a reinforced box inside, surrounded by foam panels. I was impressed!

I returned it because the tank corners did not look reliable to me as it is made of 4 separate pieces of glass wall and that made me tensed about it being prone to breakage or leakage. Size is as described in the details of product and thickness is fine too... It's just the corners which I was not very sure of. ... show more
