Needed a pole long enough to clean the solar panels. This pole was long enough and sturdy enough. The Clamps are very easy to use and hold the extension firmly in place. The universal end allowed me to use existing brush tools. This thing is heavy duty, but not too heavy to use. FYI. I initially received the product and it was crimped on one end and unusable. This is a heavy duty pole, and likely happened during shipment. I contacted the seller customer service from inside the package and they immediately sent a new one without Amazon getting involved.

This is a high quality tool to help you with high reach jobs. First thing I noticed was the packaging. Completely bubble wrapped inside a sturdy cardboard box. The next thing was the weight and heft of the pole. It is constructed of high quality materials. It has foam padding in the correct places (I.e., where you will actually put your hands to hold the pole). And the compression latches are made of high quality plastic. I then tested the extension of the pole. And it worked flawlessly. It actually extends much longer than I anticipated. A bonus. I used the pole and a suction cup accessory to access a lightbulb two stories above the ground that I used to have to get on a tall ladder plus use a pole to reach. It was a piece of cake! I then went looking for something else to fix, but didn’t find anything. So, I’m actually looking forward to the next time a lightbulb goes out! I also purchased attachments from the same company that I will review separately after I use them.

I have been using this extension pole for 2 years. I purchased this product based on reviews and product features. This product exceeded my expectations. Very sturdy, solid locks, and comfortable grips. This particular length, 1.5 to 3 feet, has proven to be a real help reaching so many surfaces around the house. I also activated the 3-year warranty as instructed when I received the product. We then went about our chores every week using this extension pole. Then, last week, one of the locks failed. I contacted the vendor and they were both professional and gracious. They are sending out a replacement that should arrive tomorrow. In these days of little to no product or customer support from so many vendors, this family-owned business stands behind there products 100%. People like this deserve your business.

The pole is very good and seems like it's solid enough to last. But, I'm giving it 4 stars because the locks are a bit "plasticky" and I don't know how long they will last. I would have loved to give it a 5 star rating but the locks would need to be more solidly made for me to do that. I'll see if I remember to give this an update after a few months of use and maybe I'll change the rating then since the quality seems good otherwise. It's definitely worth the money though, compared to other ones I have had. And the length is great, which is what I needed in order to wash my motorhome without using a ladder.

I bought this pole to make it easier for my husband to hang Christmas lights on our trees. He said it worked slick and definitely made his job easier. He confirmed that the pole was lightweight, sturdy, and was easy to lock. My only disappointment is that it didn't automatically come with the attachment to use for hanging the lights. I had to order that separately. In any event, we would highly recommend this pole.

When I received the pole it was damaged from transport. The entire tip was sheered off. I sent an email and picture through amazon directly to the company. Kate with extend-a-Reach responded quickly and arranged for a replacement to be sent the next day. No hassle, just commitment to make it right. The pole is sturdy and works well for washing our tall windows and I just ordered a couple other attachments. Would recommend purchasing form this company.

This pole is really heavy duty. I have another brand with a twist lock in a 24' length and this blows it away. Locks really well, thick aluminum, a groove to prevent section rotation. And metal universal threaded tip. I use it with a claw contraption I bought on Amz to grab leaves out of my gutters. Haven't yet tried this long one, but will really appreciate its stiffness. By the way, I had an issue with my order and the small family owned business that sells these was extremely helpful and responsive, fixing the issue quickly and professionally. Couldn't have been more impressed. Great product and great service. What more could you ask? Update 11/21/2023 Used it yesterday for the first time. Amazing. Locking mechanisms worked flawlessly. Has such a quality, sturdy feel. Unlike my narrower, twist lock pole, I was able to place this one between my legs and use my body (one inner thigh or the other) for leverage...a bit like deep sea fishing but without the chair and rod holder. LOL!!! The large diameter of this pole and the heavy orange cushioning make this a viable option. It worked great and didn't hurt one bit. This pole is a tad heavier than my twist-lock and when mostly extended and held off on an angle using a normal side-hold technique, I was getting tired more quickly. With the "deep sea fishing technique", it was "smooth sailing" (couldn't resist the pun) and actually less tiring. If you have any interest, go ahead and buy one. You won't be disappointed.
