  • LED Bright
I love this headlight for my GY6 scooter.. very bright night or day so cars see me and not to pull out on me all the time

  • Works without modifications
This headlight has the correct connector and plugs in easily. What's not easy is getting the light put into the original headlight bucket. There's not much room for the wiring and the heatsink on the back of the unit. The light is very bright and performs well once you wrestle with it.

  • Good first impressions
I haven't had a chance to properly install this headlight on my ebike yet, but I have wired it up for testing. First impressions are very good. The light is very bright - easily enough for my use case (~28mph Class 3 ebike riding at night), with a good cutoff beam pattern on the low beam. As other reviews have mentioned, the high beam has a pretty narrow throw - I'll have to see it on the road before I decide how I feel about that. The outer halo can light up white or yellow, depending on which of the two aux power wires you hook up. I'm choosing white, for use as a DRL, since this will be my only headlight. The halo does seem bright enough to be daylight-visible, which isn't a given with cheaper lights like this. So far, no complaints. I'll update this review if I discover any issues once the light is installed. ... show more

  • Very bright
Headlight is definitely a day maker even if it's not branded as such. What you're getting with this purchase is just the headlight that is pretty much a plug and play but you will have to find a bracket to hold it in place.

  • Good for city. I would say bad for country.
First off, I do a lot of back roads and country riding which are not lit up so this kind of thing matters more to me. If you are in the city or strictly roads lit up with street lights, this is a light that will more than work fine and will give you a better looking bike without a doubt. I have a Yamaha Stryker with a 5.75" headlight. I figured this should fit but turns out I need an adapter that is quite pricey if I want it to function the best. There are $20 ones but those will leave gaps in the housing too big and also they don't look secure enough so one bump in the road and I would likely have to readjust the light angle. That is not why I give this a lower rating. I should have looked into that before getting this so that was my fault. I still plugged it into my bike and judged the best I could off the wall 6' away. Low Beam: My stock housing with the Halogen created a decent spread with a thick line probably 1.5' thick before it got dim like a gradient. This LED bulb created a sharp skinny line I want to say around 10in thick.. just means less visibility but what is visible will slightly bleach out the darkness around it since the line is so sharp. My stock housing with an LED bulb in it worked the best surprisingly. I had very similar spread to the halogen but significantly brighter. and the line was not sharp which gave it a gradient making it easier on the eyes to see more of the dark parts of the road. High beam: My stock housing with Halogen, the light would only light up the sides but nothing in the center.. worst high beam I have ever seen. This LED bulb would keep the same 10in thick line but added a perfect square in the middle of the line that was probably 1' on each side. I am sure this high beam would be nice when used on the road, but it is very boxy which you will likely see while riding. The sharp lines is one thing that annoyed me on my other bike. The bulb itself feels sturdy and did not leave me questioning the quality at all. I wish I could have actually put it in my bike and done a better review on the street but I had no way of actually strapping it in. I am not a fan of sharp lines with headlights, I have that problem on my other bike (KTM 690 enduro R) and it really limits what I can see. I find myself staring at the white box on the ground because it is the only thing I can see which is not safe. LED just has that way about it, makes the darkness even darker when lines are sharp. ... show more

  • Good Looking Light
This is a very nice OEM replacement light. It looks very stylish and is brighter than I thought it would be. The only problem I had was getting the ring to fit properly after installation. I kept at it and it works.

  • Decent Performance, But Not The Best
I have been testing a number of these style of lights for my electric scooter and this was one of the better options I found. The low beam has a decent pattern with decent width and a nice cutoff. The high beam is surprisingly good, as it does throw light significantly higher than the low beam cutoff, which helps download visibility significantly. Unfortunately, the high beams cast light pretty much dead ahead with very little going to the sides. So while it does help in straight roads, it does not help along curves. Unfortunately this light lacks intensity, so while it has a decent beam pattern, it does not illuminate very far. This is fine for the electric scooter that I'm using it on, but I would not use this as my only motorcycle light. At the very least I would have two of these, or use these as an auxiliary light with a brighter main light. ... show more

  • Nice Light, Very Bright
It's a good head lamp and it's far brighter then the incandescent one I replaced.
