This is my second 5.11 RUSH72 bag, I bought one to use as a bugout bag and I loved it so much that I bought another for work soon after. Super high quality and excellent durability. Best I've ever come across. I use this bag to transport my 17.3" gaming laptop back and fourth to work daily and it's perfect for the job! Yes, my thick 17.3 inch laptop actually fits in the laptop pocket of this backpack -- and it's not hard at all for me to put in and take out quickly, all you need to do it flip the top zipper over hang back. I saw others complaining about it being hard to take a large laptop out quickly but it's really not hard at all if you learn how to flip the top inside out real quick. The camo design looks sweet, it's worth the extra money to travel in style! !00% happy customer.

One thing I liked is the side zip pockets. I can keep my thermos in one side and my umbrella fits inside the other side pocket. The stash pocket is a nice feature too. It has a place for everything I need to bring with me. I use this pack for my commute from home to work and back, and for small shopping trips. It has more than enough space. The padded shoulder straps are comfortable, along with the padded waist belt. The molle is way more than I’ll ever need. It’s a great pack. If you need more waterproofing than what it comes with you can get that waterproofing spray that comes in the spray can. That works very well. Great pack 5.11!!

I purchased mine back in 2012 when I was working in Afganistan. Excellent pack, I have over loaded it, abused it, and it just keeps coming back for more. Zippers, velcro closures, pockets, darin holes everything on it has NEVER FAILED OR NEEDED repair. Well worth the money.

This is an excellent pack! Very comfortable to wear and very versatile. My only complaint is that upon closer inspection, my hook and loop tape in the CCW compartment was not sewn on properly and is hanging loose on the corner (photo for reference). I know this is an easy fix that I can do on my own, but for the money I paid for this pack, I expect a little more attention to detail. When I called 5.11's customer support line to inquire about this, they blamed it on Amazon stating "it could have been Amazon's mishandling of the product". Make sure you inspect your pack thoroughly upon receipt.
