No I don’t know if they’re like that for every car or just mine. But they were extremely difficult to put into my car I had to have adapters to fit my car. They didn’t tell me that till after I tried for an hour to install them figured out they weren’t going to fit. They did offer me a refund but they told me that if I wanted the adapters that would cost me an extra $15. Which I think is information I should know before I make my purchase because when I made my purchase it said it would fit in my car. As far as the brightness goes yeah they’re pretty good specially for the money.

They were pretty easy to install, unplug twist, twist again plug in. The only thing is my high beam works as a daytime running light (but at lower power with halogen bulb) but with these the daytime lights are brighter than my (also led now) low beam bulbs AND they light higher up. It seems like its turning on one side of the bulb but not the other for the daytime lights, only problem is I think its the wrong side. Now i could be completely wrong & thats how it should be OR I might have put them in wrong (dont think this is possible-& I dont think one is right other left) OR maybe its just how my car interacts woth the led bulbs. Now that all said, since its during the day & you barely see lights during the day, it should be fine & I'm gonna leave as is, just wanted to let you know my experience in case you cone across the same.

Replacing the bulb is just part of the headlight restoration and upgrade. Restoring the lens is as if not more important than raising the brightness of the bulb. You need to wet sand the original clear coating off of the lens and increase the fineness up to a minimum of 1500 grit. When you think you have it sanded completely do it some more to be sure. After washing the sanded lens with grease and wax remover apply at least three coats of automotive clear. after a minimum of 24 hours of drying time you can wet sand the clear and buff with polishing compound. Now your new bulbs will shine brightly through the crystal clear lens.

The product does not work for high beams then need a separate module for them to work! Would not recommend buying for high beams but I couldn’t tell you if they are bright cause they won’t turn on.

As easy as changing regular lights in your car. They are very bright. They are polarity sensitive and they did not match the way my wife’s car was wired, but it wasn’t a problem. All I had to do was just spin the plug the other way and plug it in.

I've been using these HB3 LED lights for my 2019 Honda CRV's high beams for over two weeks now and I could not have been more impressed by their performance . They are super bright and provide an excellent coverage that far outclasses any halogen or HID lights at a fraction of the cost. And they look better as well in my transparent high beam headlight assembly! EASE OF INSTALLATION - These headlights are quite compact in size despite having a large fan design and as a result they are exact replacements for your standard halogens without any extra tools or attachments - The headlight features a standard 9005/HB3 socket design which it makes adjusting the orientation of your LED light super easy with a simple twisting action - you can use it to match your OEM beam pattern exactly ORIENTATION - Since LED lamps emit light only from two sides it is super important to align them to the correct orientation in relation to your headlamp to get a sharp cutoff (and prevent blinding oncoming traffic) as well as the optimum spread - For these headlights, What you want to do is that the LED chips should always face sideways i.e towards Left and right to get the right beam pattern as a starting position . Then you can make slight adjustments to match the beam pattern of your original bulbs but pointing/facing the car against a wall BRIGHTNESS/BEAM PATTERN/ FAN NOISE - These headlights are super bright and white. They are a huge improvement over halogens both in terms of brightness/spread as well as reach . For high beams they light up a far greater area and further than halogens - The fans a super quiet and you can barley hear them running , even when the engine is not running and the hood is open - Very nice pure white color temperature, without being too much on the blueish side FINAL THOUGHTS Overall I am very impressed with these LED headlights as they are much brighter , have a much better reach and spread when compared to OEM halogens and the added T10 interior lights are just an added bonus . These lights are a great value for money and I whole hardheartedly recommend them
