This is a very interesting RC chassis, I was not fully aware that it was meant to be run by a Raspberry Pi. but it has the outline of one on the PC body. I wasn't sure the body would be strong enough after breaking the mounting tabs off the PC but putting it together its pretty strong. I would suggest using Lock tight on the screws so it doesn't fall apart. Standard DC 5v brush motors. Since there is no steering control there are 4 motors for that. Plenty of hardware and min instructions. It also has slot for a Infrared light sensor so the car can trace a black tape road for automation or avoid obstacles. I wasn't expect such a big body but glad it is. Can't wait for my grandchild to get older so we can play with it.

We love the robot our 6 and 8 years old are excited to learn coding with it. For this price its an excellent way to introduce to robotics and coding. Just make sure to tight parts before use to make sure nothing gets loose. Im very pleased with this purchase

I purchased a DIY robot chassis kit because, apparently, adulthood wasn't exciting enough. The assembly was straightforward, although the instructions were lacking—get ready to improvise. The motors run smoothly, and the wheels perform well. This is a great beginner kit for tech experiments or just for having fun on weekends. I’m deducting a star because the battery box feels fragile and might break with minimal pressure. Overall, it's a decent little nerd-mobile.

The chassis, motor and tires arrived in good condition. I ordered a motor drive shield to complete the build. There are plenty of online tutorials to complete various builds of self-driving/obstacle avoiding cars. Makes a great STEM project for kids that are interested in these types of builds.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to this time. I bought this chassis for my little robot car project and it totally met my needs in both price and features. I ordered it last week and got it pretty fast — even managed to assemble it the same day. I accidentally lost one of the small parts, so I reached out to the seller for help.
