I'm very pleased with this NVMe. It's a much lower cost than the other brands you may recognize, but just as fast as expected. I am using it in a PCI 3.0 setup (using a PCI adapter card found on this site, with my Alienware Aurora R6), and it runs at expected 3.0 speeds: around 3000MBps sequential read and write. I know it can go faster, but for this older computer, the 3.0 speed is the best I can get. Game loads and asset loading has definitely sped up, and the computer boots faster too. I used the free program "DiskGenius" to clone my old drive to this one. All in all, very pleased. ... show more

I use 2 of these in an NAS (network-attached storage) from Ugreen. They work really well. The NVMe's high read and write speeds trump the highest transfer rate of the NAS so the NAS is being utilized at its maximum efficiency. The difference from a pair of 3-year-old SATA SSDs is apparent. For example copying a 100GB folder using rsync in Mac Terminal took 1/5 of the time it did with the SDDs. Also very easy to install. Got 3 of them for a RAID 0 game computer. they have worked wall and are within stated speeds. Really happy with them. Quality parts, no issues with compatibility, heat level is in tolerance when used with a heat sync, basic solid design.
