The instructions that came with the batteries were for standard Lipo batteries and did not have the max charge cutoff voltage listed for these High Voltage Lipo batteries, so I checked the listing. The listing for these indicated that the max voltage during charge was 4.3 volts per cell, so I charged them to 4.3 volts per cell. They did not get warm during the charge, so it would appear that 4.3 volts per cell is a safe value. After charging, I let them rest for about an hour and then set them to discharge at a slow 2 amps. They maintained over 4.2 volts per cell for the first 700 mAh of discharge, and over 3.8 volts per cell for almost 4000 mAh's of discharge. I only discharged them to 3.4 Volts per cell, so my total capacity was only about 6000 mAh per battery. Typically the rated capacity is reached when discharging to 3.2 volts per cell, but the listing says to only go to 3.5 to 3.6 volts. The cell balance was very good for the duration of the discharge, the biggest offset I observed was only 2 mV between the highest and lowest cell in each pack. I put these in my 6S Typhon one at the time, and gave them a spin around the backyard. They performed well for being only a 4S in a 6S car, better than a standard 4S battery or two 2S batteries. These had more punch and made the Typhon almost too fast for the backyard. I would have given them a spin in the 4S car I own, but it had an unfortunate encounter with a fence post at about 70 MPH. These are good Lipo-HV batteries with actual HV cells. There have been no issues, and they are staying balanced after the few charge cycles I have given them. In the online listing, or on the batteries, it does not indicate that it is safe to charge them to the typical 4.35 volts per cell that comes as the default charge voltage in most battery chargers when Lipo-HV is selected, so adjust your charger if using these batteries.

As much as these look appealing I would not recommend them. One battery weighs 94 grams less than the other. The second problem is that the balance port that is included does not work. I have 3 different chargers, one in my rc bag, one at home and one at work (track is 10 minutes away) These batteries will not read through the balance port. on all three chargers. I have tried their balance port as well as my other brand ones. I get no voltage from the the balance port. I am returning these as the quality is not that great. The price was appealing but the quality and the inability to test performance is a non starter for me. You might have better luck but im done with Nihewo batteries. All 6 of mine have died in under one year with meticulous charging, discharge, and storage. Cycled every 1 month to ensure they are healthy and unfortunately the IR's have been creeping up. I have one pack that reads almost 20,3mohms which is astonishingly high. I would pass on these.

4S lipo battery packs (2x) - super premium 4s battery packs. comes with removable bullet connectors and EC5 on the other end. the balance plugs are also removable. comes with two velcro straps. this battery set is expensive but you get what you pay for - they work perfect in my traxxas XRT. also using with an 1/8 scale buggy, plenty of punch and power. zero issues!
