Around 2 years ago the stopper on my singer machine got lost after a friend of mine used it. Since then I've been simply praying the spool doesn’t fly off when I use my machine. The hole in the center of the spool holder was a little too small. My husband was able to drill it out so they fit.

I’m using mine on a industrial Juki, so not exactly their intended purpose😅 They don’t fit on the big spool tree as nicely as I’m sure they would on a home machine, but they do fit snugly and definitely help keep really small spools from leaping off the tree whole stitching.

It doesn’t fit tight enough on the spindle of my singer 9960 to work even though they say they work on singer. On the model that I have they are just too loose.
