I hired a handyman to install 8 of these with wooden slats on my king sized bed. The supports that came with the bed were flimsy and broke off. These are heavy duty support legs for bed frame center slats. I think the rubber gasket is helpful. They are easy to adjust and appear to be stable. I used them for wooden bed and worked fine.
