Regular bed slats are to big to fit in between screws. It was also difficult to get the screws around a 2x4 cut the length we needed for mid mattress support. My husband made it work with elbow grease and tools.

I have tile floors in my house and the center leg that supported my bed would slip out from underneath and the center of my bed would sink in. For a few months i had to sleep on the out edge of my bed to not feel like it was going to break till i found good bed supports. I thought i ordered a good bed frame but it’s super cheaply made but can’t afford a new one yet. However I ordered 2 sets of the adjustable frame support legs and installed them on 4 sides (2 came in each set). they work amazing! my bed feels very sturdy and safe to roll around on without it creaking or bowing.
