It works great but It refused to work with adaptor HDMI to display port. That's why I can't give it five stars. Overall it would have done the job for the weird setup my wife had. No real delay switching between PC's and I would purchase again down the road for a future setup.The build quality is good and Insallation is simple enough. Recommend if you are NOT using adaptors to change plug gender.

I had purchased this KVM switch back in April to switch between my work MacBook and personal Windows PC. This seemed to be the best find that could allow me to switch between the two devices at a reasonable price. However, upon first setting this item up, I have since run into several complications. The first is that my USB devices, specifically my Logitech G305 mouse and EPOMAKER keyboard, do not switch successfully between my computers despite being properly plugged in. They only seem to work on my Windows PC, not my MacBook. Luckily, my keyboard supports bluetooth connection, and I have a separate mouse for my MacBook. It is unfortunate, however, having to pull out different devices and switch my keyboard setting every time I want to switch devices. The second complication I have is that one of my monitors (connected through HDMI) does not connect successfully on my MacBook right away. I essentially have to wake up my Windows PC first, get both monitors working on there, and then press the button to switch to my Mac. Only then will that monitor work properly on Mac. It's a whole ritual I have to do every morning before work, which is a little inconvenient, but I've basically gotten used to it. Other than those compatibility issues between Mac and Windows, this KVM switch works fine. The switch delay is not too long at all, and it has been pretty durable after 6+ months of use.
