    • Great Compact Camera Thats Better as a Webcam
Used this primarily as a webcam and compared to my Logitech Brio that I have, I noticed this far outpaces the logitech brio as it is much clearer. Comes with a lot of accessories that you don't necessarily need but they are good to haves. Has the mounting screw that is compatible with all camera accessories so you can mount it on a tripod. The touchscreen on the screen is probably the best feature so you don't have to get bogged down with the physical buttons. I use it both for streaming game play and zoom calls! ... show more

Got this for fun around the home for some projects my kids wanted to work on along with general home movies. The kit comes with plenty of accessories which are mostly gimmicky but we will touch base on that later. The camera does store in the bag with a battery installed and has enough room for the USB cord, and the included desktop tripod is nice with 2 adjustable heights. But that's where the good ends. My kit didn't come with any included batteries. When reaching out to customer service there was 1) a bad email address, 2) never responded in the specified time frame. There were 2 email addresses one in the manual that one was unreachable or nonexistent, and one on the contact card, It has been 72hrs with no response and this was reached via business days. The camcorder itself had a good weight which was suspect for these devices. On closer inspection the camera weighed in @ 295.5 grams, 94.4 of which are added weights to make it feel more "premium" in the center of the body is a large ferrite weight, and on the right side is a large chrome plated weight. At its price point it's not expected for this device to be a stellar performer but this type of trickery/dishonesty is not a brand I would like to do business with. The image quality on the LCD is okay and good enough for general framing of a shot but watching the playback on a computer the compression is terrible and has lots of artifacts. The lens hood obstructs part of the frame, and the included mic is alright, you will get better sound from the onboard mic. The camera will have issues remembering your set / preferred resolution. When it comes to charging your batteries it only seems to like the supplied cable and not a straight USB C cable. Now when using the dual camera function I'm pleased to say it records in 2 streams so you can do what you like with both streams. Picture quality is nothing to write home about. Night shooting will only work if the viewfinder is not angled as the IR LEDs are on the front of the viewfinder. For its price, I'd expect slightly better not a ton of useless accessories. This can be fun for someone just getting into filmography or someone who wants certain visual atheistic. Overall I didn't have high expectations for this device and this just didn't even come close to those already low expectations. I would not recommend this to anyone really and it would be better to spend your money on the second-hand market for a better camera for the same price. This would have gotten a better review if it included the batteries that were advertised and if customer service was more responsive. ... show more

I got this 4k camcorder housing to help chronicle the creation and progression of my school's esports team and our stage events. We are often trying to shoot footage in low light scenarios. While some phones work well for this, we wanted something that could handle the job and not demand so much of our phone's internal memory. The set comes with a small tripod mount, housing with grip and even a lens cage for adding shutters if needed. The media could not be loaded. For 1/6 th of the cost it does a good job. It keeps video stable as you are walking around or excess movement to a minimum. Probably better suited for vlogging because of the dual camera feature which is really nice! I believe what alot of people forget is that your SD card has to be able to handle 4k in order for you to actually shoot 4k for example about video of the dog is not as good due to the fact I only had a 80MB/s SD card lying around and not UHS-II SDcard which could handle 4k! ... show more

Compared to the video quality on my phones, I don't think this camera is going to do better. However, sometimes its nice to have a secondary camera to place somewhere or give to a 2nd camera person and that's what I like about this camera. It's not too expensive but makes a great secondary. It's light weight and really easy to use. Because it's a regular video camera, there are all the mounts to connect it to tripods and mounts.
