This is a perfect starter drone I am into RC's cars and drones. I was surprised when I had seen this one purchased it for only $106. 75% off. Purchase two. One showed up used, they replaced. These are great drones I think I've been up to 300 ft maybe further you can do a perfect slow circle I can see 7 mi away to the river and the bridge. It works wonderful has stabilization control and gyro. Automatic go home features low battery, lost reception, or you call for it to come home. It will do a hangman it will go straight up in the air about a hundred feet. And then straight over to where it took off from and then straight down. Make sure you are not flying under anything on a low battery or you will watch your drone bounce off of it as it tries to return home. Easy to maneuver fly forward sideways backwards there's a 50% and 100% button to slow or speed up as you're learning this is a drone you do not have to be scared of if you lose sight of it you tap one button return home and it brings it back. Unlike other cheaper drones if this one loses connection completely it will return to where it took off from. When you turn the drone on it connects to satellites it will not take off until it has connected to at least nine satellites. Where I live it is typically around 20 to 21 satellites that it is running off of for GPS. This is for return home features also if you use your phone connected to the controller You can clearly see the video as you're flying allows you to fly outside while being inside or outside I like to fly across the street down into the canal and fly down the canal. The drone will not land in water / wet grass. So it will reject landing in the water. Don't try to make it land in water like I did I was doing a test on one like I said I had purchased 2.

Crashed first flight, camera broke but it still would fly. Waited for "Very" calm conditions to try for a second flight 2 to 3 mph winds so light you could hardly feel it against your skin. Launched went up a 150 ft. or so flew around about 10 min and then tried to land. For this drone to land it cuts back on the thrust to the point of drone slowly falls to earth. With so little thrust the drone can no longer counter the wind and floats with the wind wile descending right into a tree that spelled the death of the drone and $110.00 gone in an instant. Ya I payed way too much. I flew RC airplanes for over 10 years so I'm no stranger to a control box. I rotated the drone into the wind while descending,,no go,,so I rotated back and tried flying backwards still decending no difference still floating at the trees . The control limits are to little to be much use in anything except dead calm winds. How often does that happen ? Real disappointed.

I'm only giving this 4 stars, because the motors on this thing are mighty powerful, which can be proven by the cuts on my hands, and This is the first drone I've ever operated, so I watched the tutorial videos, read the owners manual and test attempted some test flights in my house. I thought I was getting the feel, but I hit the curtains a couple times, and it would immediately grounded that sow sucker. I don't know why the motors wouldn't automatically shut off while it was on its back, but when I'd pick it up to shut down the power, it would chop my hands up! So after three times and blood shed, I thought I'd try it outside with no curtains. I took off from my deck hand rail and slowly learned the controls and how to hover. But then it started heading west, which was bad because it was nearing sunset. I lost sight for fifteen seconds, panicked, but then I caught sight. I was able to get it to bank right and head toward home. The control response was frustrating, as it would head straight toward me then bank off. After struggling to bring this drone home and get it closer, I realized I was trying to control a bird! By that time the drone must have been four miles away. So now my options are buy a different drone that's more idiot proof and have no use for the two extra batteries, two sets of prop blades, controller, case and hardware, or spend the same money to replace it and hope I'm not to stupid to learn. Because if I lose another one, I may never try something new again.

I mean for $100 what did I expect. Works, great beginner unit but I would not use it for professional or stable video/photos. More of a toy really. When you set it to a position to hover it move around a lot and will drift off a bit. Better use it in large open spaces. Camera needs a gyro for as much as it moves around as the videos are shaky. Range is decent in open spaces but I tried to fly around my garage and lost signal as it went behind the garage. The camera feed is WiFi to your phone so that might be part of it. 90 minutes run time is a bit misleading... it's 30min per battery and it comes with 3 batteries. Says it has a follow me feature which I have not tried yet but without collision avoidance I'd be afraid to use it. So all in all if you want just a drone to play with.... then try it out but if your looking for the professional looking videos and photos might want to step it up a bit.

Must calibrate the drone before every flight or it wanders around barely under control. Phone app locks up constantly. Has nice functions, but they don't work. Return to home worked once. Do not fly in any wind or even a light breeze whatsoever. Mine was about 25 meters away from me when it must have lost signal and flew away never to be seen again.....
