We use this for the beach and the community pool. Easily fits a case of cans with room for ice/ice packs and a few snacks on top. Good for packing the fixings for an entire lunch for a family of four. We have put actual ice in it, spent the afternoon at the pool and no water leaks, with standing water at the bottom. Does a pretty good job of standing upright, depends on how you pack it. Does a good job of keeping cold for a couple hours as long as you use enough cold packs, easy to transport and comfortable enough with the backpack feature. I had never used it as a cooler, I bought it for traveling since it fits a ton of clothes. So I emptied it out & we used it for a week straight. Never drained it & it never leaked once! It Doesn't Leak And It Looks Very Nice And A Good Amount Of Room It Just Isn't So Sturdy Or Durable When I Took It For A Hike/Walk, It Work Great If You Aren't Carrying It Far But The Straps Just Can't Hold The Weight That Well For A Long Period.

The media could not be loaded. We bought this bag to replace our smaller over the shoulder cooler and couldn’t be happier! This bag fits everything that we normally take to the beach and pool and then some! The bag is perfect with a huge cold section that we load up with drink and ice and then have our chilled food on the top. The zippers around this section really set this bag apart from our other bag by creating a seal around the compartment. The top pocket for our dry food is slightly bigger than our other bag, but is managed by an easier zipper. The two pockets on the sides are great as we are always lugging along two water bottles for our kids along with room for two other bottles as well. The straps and padding on the back are comfy enough to wear this on a long hike with no problems! One of the biggest things that surprised my husband about this bag was the included multi-tool that was conveniently hidden on the strap with everything you’d need in an emergency situation. Its ok, i bough this because i have to carry my meds to work and my food and needed something big enough to hold them all. It doesn't do a bad job keeping stuff cold but doesn't blow your mind doing it ether. I like the upper insulated pouch, i use it when i have something hot i want to keep away from my meds and such. The problems i have with the bag are as follows. 1. Straps are too short I can barely get this thing on my back. 2. The stitching was already coming lose on mine when it got to my house. but after some modification on my part its managed to hold up. 3. It was folded up like an accordion for shipping, I don't mean like flattened for shipping I mean top to bottom flattened and this surprisingly made it hard to get it to take a useable shape at first.
