I bought this hardware wire to make a screen door for my chicken coop. It’s perfect. And what’s more impressive is the way the seller packaged it - the wire does not scratch and cut you while working with it since it’s packaged so thoughtfully and wrapped with paper between the rolls to keep it untangled. The seller also included zip ties to attach and a nice pair of gloves to use. This just tells me the seller values the customer! I feel I got more than I paid for!

Didn't realize this was only 23 guage. My fault for not reading description thoroughly. Going to try and still use it for a garden fence project. Hopefully it's strong enough. Very thin hardware cloth. Not what I was hoping for. Literally as thick as cheap poultry netting.

Buyer beware !! The item is advertised / described as 16-inches high by 50 feet long. It is 16 inches high, but the length is the problem. First problem: it arrived cut into two pieces, not a single piece. Second problem: the two pieces only added up to 42 feet in length. We wanted one continuous piece, but we needed at least 44 feet for our project, so we returned it to exchange for "same item," hoping the next one would arrive as advertised / described (i.e., 50 feet long). Nope!! The second one was one piece (good) but it was again substantially shorter than the advertised 50 feet. Luckily for us, the second one happens to be 44 feet long, exactly the length we need for our project. So good luck if you really need 50 feet. Giving it one star because we are minimally satisfied. (Had to return the first one, and the second one barely works for us.) Also note: it's very thin wire... thinner even than a good "chicken wire," but we're just trying to keep a small dog from escaping our deck, so it will suffice.

This hardware cloth is so convenient. I use it to go across my garage door so I can raise it a bit for ventilation and keep the critters out. It is easy to stretch and mold to the needed shape. It would work well to cover a hole in the facia of your house to stop small invaders. I think it would work around a garden to keep rabbits from eating the produce. As a bonus, there are gloves to protect your hands and wire ties to anchor the hardware cloth.

This chicken wire has a couple of problems. We used it for a window in our chicken coop as well as the front and back vents along the roof. The wire itself is thin and still had elements of solder in many of the squares. It is tightly bound so make sure to wear your gloves and be prepared once you clip the restraining wires. Our roll actually ended up being 22 ft. and 6 inches long. It wasn't a huge deal as we had enough but when you order something listed at 25 ft. you would kind of hope to be much closer to it than a full 2 and a half feet short.
