I got this crate after my rottie broke more crates than I care to admit. Really wish I’d just bought one of these from the get go. Assembly was super easy, my 9 y/o son helped me and we had no issues (except we put the top and bottom doors on opposite sides) it only took about 15-20 minutes to put together. The box it came in was very heavy tho and was a bit of a struggle to get up the stairs, so definitely plan on having help with that. The crate itself is very sturdy and cozy. So far my dog seems very comfortable in it.

Our whippet gets anxious when crated (we crate trained but it's just how he is). He needs to be crated for his own safety when we're out of the home & this is the only crate that has worked. Not only has he not destroyed it, he hasn't even damaged it. Also, he actually relaxes in this crate instead of trying to escape the whole time. I don't know if he feels more secure, if he likes the extra height, or if he just gave up since he wasn't making progress, but regardless, he was actually cuddled up asleep when we got home today. We don't want to stress our dog, but he needs to be safe when we're not home and this is the best solution. I put it together by myself pretty quickly & easily. All tools, screws, etc included. I highly recommend this product.

So I never leave reviews, but I had to on this one. My husband and I have had a horrible time keeping my 70 pound dog in his kennel while we are gone to work. For reference we had a basic wire one from the department store with 6 professional duty clips in addition to the locks and he was still getting out to tear the house up! With this one he loves it (likes to hop in and out with his toys) and stays safe. The only down side I have is if you have a dog with small paws you might need to put a pad or something in the bottom as the slats are a little big. For size reference Charlie (our 40 pound mix) is modeling the kennel. Hopefully we will never have to get another kennel again!

Very sturdy dog kennel. My dog has destroyed multiple other crates but this one has held him for a week now with no damage. There really isn’t anywhere for them to get there claws in or teeth. The bottom has thick mettle slats and it’s not flimsy metal. The only complaint I have is that it will be a pain to break down or move and the latch is kinda awkward to use but gets the job done

I really had hopes for this crate, my pitty has managed to escape so many other types of crates, I had hopes she wouldnt manage to break out of this one. But unfortunately she did. My pitbull somehow managed to peel the front right side panel next to the door inwards (Picture the way a can top peels back when opened by either pull tab or can opener) and managed to escape. In doing so she also broke her right kanine tooth which resulted in a vet visit.

Our dog has busted out of 2 other crates and this is much more durable. It feels more like a spacious den for our dog. The lock is very easy to open yet very secure. I highly recommend spending the money to purchase this.
