The media could not be loaded. I bought this 47 Inch Gaming Desk for my son, and he loves it! The assembly was pretty straightforward, and once it was all put together, it looked really sleek with that carbon fiber black finish. The one thing he likes the most are the LED lights, they are a fun touch, he loves changing the colors depending on his mood or game, and it really gives the whole room a cool vibe. The built-in power outlet is super convenient; he can plug in his laptop, phone, and other gear without having cords running everywhere. The monitor stand is very nice works extremely well with his big monitor, and he uses the side hook for his headset, which keeps everything neat and tidy. The desk feels sturdy and well-made, definitely not flimsy. It’s not just a gaming desk—it doubles as a solid workstation when he needs to do schoolwork. And that cup holder couldn't be more on point. Absolutely obsessed and that was before the lights. The lights are perfect, I know what I'll be playing with when anxiety kicks in while I'm working. The media could not be loaded. The VidaTeco Computer Desk has become a decent addition to my computing area. The lights can stay off, stay on, fade, and work by sound or motion on the desk. I did not download the app and haven't used the remote yet, as I'm more interested in using the desk. The upper shelf can hold a small tv/monitor, cell phones, tablet or laptop...or all of the above. There's a cup holder to attach (holds a good sized tumbler...i have a full one there now with no issues...or a cup with a handle) and another holder for headsets, etc. I hang reading glasses on that one. It comes with an over-sized mouse pad/vibration pad and a grounded power strip that fits into a top hole. It has 4 grounded outlets and 2 USB ports. One of the ports works to run the lights, which you do not need to use if you don't want to. Use the remote or the built-in power switch on the desktop. The desk itself is roomy (about 43" x 15" of work area) and the top shelf is about 7" x 47". Now, to the reasons for the star drop... ---Not adjustable. Be sure to have an adjustable chair to be comfy. The chair I'm using right now may be too short for regular use bc I have to raise my arms quite a bit to compute. The top of the desk area is about 26" off the floor. ---No extra dowels. The top shelf slipped while assembling and the dowels broke. Luckily, I had some spares that fit. Which brings to light....Mom, why do you keep all this $***? Bc you never know. ---Now, the big one...The usual...the instructions. Absolutely pitiful. I wasted so much time sorting out the steps. The best method is to take a pic of each step and expand it on your phone screen. Even then, it's a bit wonky. It's difficult to know how some pieces fit and in what direction. I will add that you may want to assemble the shelves with their plates before adding to the desk. Just easier, imo. ---I haven't played with the remote yet, but did end up unplugging the lights last night. I didn't realize they were sound and motion activated until I was near the desk and they started working. Kinda creepy. Easy to unplug, it's right on top. The tools to assemble are included, as are some sticky hooks to keep the wiring in place. There are adjustable feet for leveling. After assembly, this is a very sturdy desk. the desk is just way too short. unless you want your chair sitting all the way down so you can actually use the desk. even then it's still too short, you're basically on the ground. so i would NOT recommend this desk AT all. and it came with no holes for the charging strip to be screwed in and held down. instructions are also on one piece of paper. the desk looks nice, but for me personally, i cannot use this as it is WAY too short. ... show more

The main issue I have with this desk is the diagonal support struts, which just don't seem to fit and therefore don't really support the surfaces of the desk. The main surface then appears to sag somewhat in the middle. Otherwise, the desk would be very good. Yes the power strip is on the desk surface and yes the lights actually need to plug in from the bottom over to the top power source. These are both strange choices.
